I completed this quest in April 2004 on Ahazi server after the Publish 6/ Themepark reset with positive Jabba & negative Hutt factions.

Quest details: "Ree-Yees wants you to deliver the transponder to Sirad Far.  When you have done so, return to the palace."

This was a simple delivery mission with no spawned opposition. The instrument calibrator (proxy for transponder)was placed in my main inventory then removed by Sirad Far upon conversing with him.

The waypoint generated 1048m from mission start & objective was at assigned wp the first time mission was attempted.

Reward for Quest completion: 50 Jabba faction & a piece of Mambari Steelweave Armor. Armor included skill mods: Ranged def +5, and Def vs Stun +5. You may enter deeper into Jabba's palace at this point.

you ask: "What is Jabba planning on doing with the transponder once Sirad's donw with it?"

Ree-Yees: "I heard Jabba say that the type of ship that crashed meets the same specifications as Jabba's own personal starship.  I think what Jabba's trying to do is have this transponder hooked up on his ship so that Jabba can transmit a false indentity whenever he wants. That Hutt is sly, I must admit."

Reply: "Sounds easy enough. Yea, I'll get the job done."

Ree-Yees: "Yea, I knew you'd want to do it. Sirad's been told he's got a package showing up, so he's waiting. Get this over to him, and get it to him fast, you hear?"

Sirad Far: "Hey, are you the guy old Reesy-Yeesy sent? That transponder should be just fine for Jabba's purposes."

I started the Jabba theme quest with about -190 Hutt Faction, and positive Jabba faction. Still trying to figure out how to raise that darn Hutt Faction.

Four thugs surrounding the poor Slicer. Simple wetwork. Got the transponder sliced and went back to Ree-Yees.

Got a lovely Breastplate as my reward, and faction as well.

i got no reward fot ree-yees' missions besides creds and jabba fps                                                                

Got helm first time, next character got pants.                                                                             

Completed last night and recieved a Helm. Not to bad had some resist on it.                                                                

never got this one, either. only had 2 missions for this guy and 2 missions for Reelo. Then they let me in the back to work for Ephant Mon.                                                   

When I approach this guy, he asks if I'm the one Ree sent.  Then nothing. If I converse with him he asks if I should be doing something and the mission won't complete. Seems broke to me.                                      

Reward is a D18 Pistol
