You must complete missions for Reelo, Ree-Yees, Ephant Mon, Porcellus, Barada and Bib Fortuna in that order before speaking to G-5PO
QUEST DETAILS: Steal the Rantok Sword from Lady Valarians warehouse. Eliminate any resistance you encounter and bring the sword back to Jabba.
You say, Why is Jabba asking me to do this?
You say, I would be honored to help the great Jabba recover that trophy.
This is a destroy/delivery mission. 4 Valarian Thugs (1100 avg HAM) guard the warehouse. Eliminate them and enter the warehouse. In the back right room you will find a container holding the Rantok sword. Return it to G-5PO for quest completion. The way point generated 1212m from mission start & the objective was at assigned WP the first time mission was attempted.
RETURN TO JABBA'S PALACE FOR YOUR REWARD, THE MISSION IS COMPLETE.
Your reward has been placed in your backpack.
You have been awarded 80 points of Hutt faction standing.
Talking to G-5PO after this mission illicits the following text:
I believe the missions do not end here. However, completing this mission allows you access to Jabba's personal "lounge" or bedroom.
Place surrounded by 4x 1K HAM thugs.
Badge Received: Jabba's Badge of Trust: Jabba's Theme Park Completed
Bio Badge Received: ...has earned Jabba's Badge of Trust
I completed this Quest on Ahazi server after the Publish 6/ Theme park reset.

Reward for Quest completion: 2000 credits, Jabba Faction points, a schematic for a Featherweight FWG5 Pistol, and a badge Jabbas badge of Trust: Jabbas Theme Park Completed
I hope these observations have helped you in your quest for Jabba's trust.
G-5PO replies, Jabba would perfer to offer this job to Boba Fett, but your fee is much more reasonable. Jabba has placed his trust in you. Do not take this honor lightly.
You say, I would be honored to help the great Jabba recover that trophy.
after a particularly busy morning, i now have 22 rantoks on my wep vendor..so if ur on bria and near talus, and feel in need of a Rantok moment, e-mail sootch, i'm sure i got one just for you...well i'm bound to really, law of averages... :)
can u use the featherweight schematic as many times as u want , providing u meet all the min requirements, or does it have a finite amount of charges, like, say, the dead-eye scematic?
The new reward for finishing the G5PO quest line is a schematic for a "Featherweight FWG5 Pistol". Once made from the schematic, the pistols stats are as follows (min/max damage and delay vary slightly from stated, but you get the idea):

A FWG5 Pistol
This particular weapon has been crafted with ultra-lightweight materials. This provides the user with greater accuracy and mobility.
This weapon requires the marksman skill pistols 4 in order to weild it proficiently.
As long as you keep putting the swords in an 'equip'd' backpack, the mission will not 'auto-finish'. Hence you can get as many swords as you feel like carrying... I have several that I give out to fellow guild members for their contributions to the guild. It makes for a nice 'show-piece' in ones home.
I did this quest today, and I got two Rantok swords. Got the first sword, went to Wayfar and found an NPC and took his job, went back to Jabba's (Rantok in hand) and got the same mission. Since the next Rantok recovery mission was the same direction as home (Anchorhead), I retrieved the second sword and kept going East.
I wasn't able to pick up the box, or steal any instruments from the throne room (given the option to play them instead), so they must have fixed that bug.
The Rantok and the other various weapons I got at Jabba's will be a nice addition to my weapon display. I didn't finish the quest...plan on going back for a few more swords.
The post above is mine...went back today without any Rantoks (forgot to clone back in AH, so I ended up in Wayfar). G5-PO told me Jabba was upset I hadn't returned with his sword. I was given the options of 1) Can't do it; or 2) Still working on it.
I chose option 1, and then was able to get the mission again. 3 Rantoks in my house now...hehe
i finished the quest and collected the sword but when i got back to g5p0 and talked to him i didnt get anything from him. is there anyway to get it again.
what if you were to go talk to someone else and say, yes id like to work for you, then be free of your debt to jabba and have the sword, btw the sword isnt about the damage its cool because its a collectors item and thats the ONLY place you can get one...except for maybe a rare drop, but i doubt it
For anyone who wants to know there was a magazine released sometime last august. I actually bought it at an airport on a buisness trip. It was an official magazine that gave coordinets to Jabbas Palace, the exar kun temple and a bunch of other really cool places. I forgot the name of it but it said something about two guys who were shooters and it had two compueter generated bodies on the cover attached to two real heads. Or something like that, when i find the magazine ill make sure to let you know what its called.
To get extras I need to equip it after the quest is completed, then forget about the quest and tell someone else I will work for them, then start the quest over again (with the sword in storage) and continue to mis-complete quest?
In order for me to finish the quest i had to unequip it to give the G5PO, so what i did was do more missions (some went by wayfar , so i dropped the spare rantoks in my Safety Deposit Box) and gave the 4th sword in.. so i have 3 spare :D woot,
This meant that i kept having to fail the mission to keep the sword, (when equipped), but i could do the mission again and get another.
Ok...I've done this mission atleast 8 times. I kill everything and its all clear. I go inside and try to pick up the sword/drum, it says "you do not have permission to access this container." Really starting to piss me off. If anyone else has had this problem and been able to fix it, please help before I pull all my hair out.
I can't seem to get this message to end. I've tried just taking the box, I've tried just taking the sword, I've tried taking the sword and then the box. I've done the mission 4 times I have 4 boxes and 4 swords. I just want to complete the mission don't care about the box or sword. any ideas? also is it normal to only get around 30 credits per mission? Thanks
I actually took the container as well because it makes a nice house container and it is unique (its a blue drum - looks like a futuristic cooler). When I went inside the compound I picked up the drum, took the sword out and equipped it. Then ran to G3P-O with it still equipped and was still successful. Kept the sword (good wall ornament) and also the drum. :)
Is it possible to give the sword to a friend instead of to jabba, and then do the quest again? (and again. and again. until your friend's backpach is full of jabba's sowrds..)
No the sword is not the trigger for the quest, retreiving it is. Once you speak to G5 after you have retreived the sword, the quest is over weather you posess it or not.
Maybe something has changed, but only by talking to G5P0 holding the sword or with it in my main inventory could I finish the quest. The sword poofed while I was wielding it. I tried throwing it in the bank and starting over and it poofed. I tried hiding it in my backpack and starting over as well as handing it off to a friend; poofed again. Anytime I tried to complete the quest without the sword in my inventory or in my hand, he just asks if I have found it yet. There's some trick I'm not following to keeping the sword or the quest was "fixed" in a recent patch not to end until you actually hand in the sword. FYI--the bedroom's not all that impressive.
