I completed this mission in April 2004 on Ahazi server after the Publish 6/ THemepark reset with positive Jabba, negative Hutt & Thug factions.

Quest Details: �Kill the courier who�s making a delivery for Lady Valarian.  Retrieve anything important he might be carrying.�

This is a destroy/delivery mission. Objective is 1 Thug (284 HAM) (Thug Faction). A ledger was placed in my main inventory after killing target so make sure you have room for it.

Waypoint generated 1133m from mission start & objective was at assigned wp the first time mission was attempted.

Reward for mission completion: 550 credits. Ledger was removed from main inventory after mission completion.

ADDITIONAL QUEST TEXT:

You ask: �what�s so special about this courier?�

Ephant replies: �the courier is nobody.  Just another mercenary who needed a job. But Jabba wants what the courier is carryin�. The package has financial information from Valarian�s compound. We can use that information to ruin her.�

You reply: �If Jabba needs this done, then I�m the one for the job.�

Ehapt replies: �Good, that courier is carryin� a special package. Bring the package back to me�.�

Upon mission completion: �Ah, you have the ledger. Good. Jabba�s spies say that Valarian is foaming after losing it. Take this reward for all your help.�

Well, I got there and two NPC spawned, they promptly shot each other and my target died. However, I checked my inventory and suddenly had the package on me, even though I was 150m from the fight :)

Reward was: Rank Sash - sorta like a bandolier.
No practical use a all.
