    Details:
Jinkins says, "Hmmmm? You must be a new recruit. This crew changes faces faster than a Shi'odo spy. But I'm glad we have some fresh blood: The last "pirate" who wandered in here is still being digested by a kimogila somewhere past Rancid Ridge."

You say, "Jinkins, eh? What do you do?"

Jinkins says, "I'm Jinkins. Nym's chief engineer. Nym asks for weapons, and I build them. I joined up with the Lok Revenants a few months before the Battle of Naboo, which makes me one of this crew's oldest members, along with Kole of course."

    You ask, "Who is Kole?"

Jinkins says, " Kole is Nym's first mate. He's been with this crew longer than I have. In his younger days, he was a brilliant disguise artist and even worked for a few years as an assassin. Now, he mostly watches Nym's back.

You say, "Tell me about Nym."

Jinkins says, "You must be joking... Nym is the most feared pirate in the Maramere system. He routed the Trade Federation from Lok and its neighboring planets right around the start of the Clone Wars, and he's maintained complete control over the spacelanes in this region ever since. There's nobody with more power on Lok. And except for Jabba the Hutt, he's probably the most powerful alien in the Outer Rim. The Imperials on this planet couldn't even lift Nym's shadow... And he has no love for the Empire, if you catch my meaning..."

You ask, "Do you need me to do anything for you?"

Jinkins says, "Actually, there is something I'd like you to look into, if you can. I recently intercepted a distress call from a starship that crash-landed on Lok. Ships nose-dive into the planet all the time, but this one took off from an Imperial mining installation on Lok and never made it into the atmosphere. I think it slammed down near the hideout of the Sulfur Lake Pirates. I'm very interested in this vessel...

You ask, "Who are the Sulfur Lake Pirates?"

Jinkins says, "Probably the most bloodthirsty, least-intelligent pirates on Lok. Like all the other pirate bands, they are constantly trying to dethrone Nym as Lok's reigning pirate king. They hate Nym for taking control of all the nearby hyperspace routes and claim that he's working with the Imperials. The gravel maggots have been looking for an excuse to go to war with us for years... There's a hermit living near Nym's stronghold who once worked for the Sulfur Pirates. He might be able to tell you more."

    *Optional*
    -------------------------------------
You ask, "Who is this hermit?"

Jinkins says, "I don't know much about him. We thingk he was some sort of droid designer for the Old Republic, but fled to Lok when the Empire took power. A few years ago, Nym used him to fence good on Coruscant. But before that, he was performing droid upgrades for the Sulfur Lake Pirates. He can probably tell you about their base."

You say, "Okay, I'll go talk to him."

Jinkins says, "Good. I'll Mark his last known location in your datapad. Be sure to ask him about the pirates, see what he knows."

    -------------------------------------------
You ask, "You intercepted a distress call?"

Jinkins says, "Yes. As part of my duties, I monitor comlink and transceiver activity around the system. We don't want a Star Destroyer sneaking up on us, do we? Anyway, this particular starship interests me because it was carrying Imperial cargo. A droid, in fact, that was once owned by General Otto at an Imperial base here on Lok."

You ask, "What's so special about this droid?"

Jinkins says, "Probably nothing. But, as an Imperial droid, it might be carrying some very interesting data. Shipping schedules, guard rosters, prisoner transfer information, schematics for some terrifying super weapon... Anything the droid knows could be sold on the black market or traded back to Otto for a favor down the road. It might also tell us something about that Imperial mining facility, which we haven't been able to infiltrate. You'd be rewarded well if you could secure that droid's memory module."

You say, "I'll recover the module. Where can I find this droid?"

Jinkins says, "Excellent. I'll provide you with a waypoint to the Sulfur Lake. Our scouts learned that the Sulfur Lake Pirates have already taken the cargo - including the droid - from the crashed starship, so don't waste your time looking through the wreckage. Oh, and watch out for the pirates' "bridge troll." I'm not sure what that is but it sounds dangerous..."

    * You are given a wp to the Droid Cave

Make your way through the cave until you come across a Hacker. Talk to the NPC to solve a series of riddles. The answers to the riddles are:
    - Orange
    - 720
    - Sir!

The Hacker opens the locked door. Proceed into the fenced-in area and Loot the blue astromech droid. You will be given a Droid Memory Module. Return it to Jinkins.

    Drag the DMM onto Jinkins.

Jinkins says, "Yes! That's it. This is the right model number... And this droid does instead have a history with the Empire. Now, it should be simple matter to slice this droid's brain and find out what it knows. I'll be sending any intriguing information to Kole's datapad, so you might want to talk to him next time you're in our stronghold."

Go see Kole for your next quest.

      Do it like this:

Start talkin w Jinkins and get his help and advice, including going to the guy he advices you to. You will get the WP as mentioned above.

Dont talk to Kole at all, you dont need to since the cave of him is completetly empty and dead, the gas filter excluded.

Both items, droids brain and gas filter, are automagically placed in your inventory when opening their loot screens.

Go get the droids brain at pirates' place.

Head directly to Gas Mines at 6467, 3885 and grab the filter at bottom of the empty cave.

Head back to Nym's place and ...

    • FIRST -- talk to Kole

    • SECOND -- speak with Jinkins

    • Then turn to Nym and talk with him.

When I talked to Nym he directed me to Jenkins and thus the circle continues. has this happened to anyone else and if so how do you fix it? thanks

The hermit is standing over in the NPC entertainer section, he has retired engineer in his name. The quest following has retired something, and he is by the back door of the cantina.

After each section of the quests, once you have obtained the items they sent you for, and it is in your inventory, return to them. talking to them will do nothing for you. You need to physically drag the items from your inventory onto them. This will finnish each portion of the quests.

When talking to Jenkins, you can ask enough questions that he will send you to the droid cave right away.  Don't do this! Talk to the hermit first.

Otherwise, if you do what I did and get sent to the droid cave first, after completing that mission it will tell you to go back to Jenkins. When you get back it won't acknowledge that you've completed the driod quest, and your only choice will be to go talk to the hermit. When you follow *that* waypoint, there won't be any hermit there.

      Bummer.

So follow the quest order, even though the NPC makes it seem like things can happen in any order.

Ah and I needed no buffs at all even that I was not buffed; its possible  ! and no tank pet or droid. the second Mission is in an empty cave real easy !! nothing to kill there. !For those how like to cheat the game a little I would say after you get the last mission from Nym in person DON"T give him the container ! instad put them in your Back Pack and drop the mission, then go and do the mission again ! and again and everytime you do it ! put the stoff in your back pack !!!! so that you walk out with several Carabines !!!!!!Have Fun

As you arrive on Lok you will be dropped off at Nym's Stronghold Starport. Nym's palace is on the far side of the city opposite the starport.
*I want to interject here that having completed this quest, I must say it was quite easy as far as working my way thru the caves and lab. The baddies were easy kills for a TKM with no buffs, however, I was buffed when I started the quest. (It shouldn't take your entire buff lifespan to do this quest, especially after reading this walk-thru :) ) As I approached Nym's palace, and also outside the cantina, I was attacked by Nym's men who were pretty tough and I was glad for my buffs. (If your in good faction standing with Nym, you should have no trouble.)*
Enter Nym's palace. You will see Nym sitting behind a table with Jinkins and Kole standing near; talk to Jinkins. Jinkins will give a waypoint near the cantina for the contact you are to meet with who should give orders and WP for your next assignment. As I mentioned above, when I got to the cantina I was mobbed by some of Nym's guards. After fending them off, my contact was not at the waypoint. If this happenes to you, no worries, just continue with the quest... proceed to the next assignment which is to go to the droid cave at -3033, -661 (close to Cornicopia if you'd rather shuttle than take the scenic route). When you enter, veer left and work your way through that end of the map. You will come to a hacker standing near a computer. He will need your help and will ask 3 questions, which you may choose in any order. Your replies should consist of "orange", the greatest number option for the math question, and "Sir" for "What do you call a wombat..."
Proceed thru the entrance ahead; loot the droid. You will get a chip to take back to Jinkins.
After delivering the chip to Jinkins, he will tell you talk to Kole. Kole will give you your next assignment - to retrieve 2 gas canisters from a nearby cave, 6467, 3885. Just make your way thru the cave and find the air filtration unit, open and pick up the canisters to return to Kole.
After handing over the canisters, Kole will tell you to talk to Nym. Nym gives you your last assignment. He'll send you to a research lab located at 902, -4193 (shuttle to Imperium's Fist... you'll be glad you did) to retrieve a  computer hard drive AND an imperial military grade module. When I did this, I found one in the smaller square room within the center area of your overhead map (look for a box on the floor), the other was in the room with the "maze" of computer offices (look at the display panel of the large computer against a wall.)
After picking up both items, return them to Nym to receive your badge.
      HAPPY QUESTING!

look in your waypoint screen and you will find droid cave about 6k away. head there

once you are deep in the cave you come up on a hacker standing by a data terminal. he will ask you to solve a riddle. remember ORANGE and THE LARGEST NUMBER and the wombat is called SIR thats the answers you need to get the droid you need to loot.

then go forward and find a robot and loot it. grab the memory chip and head back to nym.
once back at the palace drag the memory chip onto jinkins.

      Next quest

Jinkins will tell you to talk to kole which sends you off to a cave to find some gas. follow the waypoint given to you by him.

go through the cave, fight your way to the air filtration unit and open it. you will get two canisters. take them to kole and drag both to him.

kole will tell you to talk to Nym

      Next

go to the research lab and find the computer hard drive and imperial military grade. bring them back and drag it to nym.

      now you have the badge.
