Completed this mission after the Publish 6/Themepark reset.  Quest information as provided by datapad wp details: "Han solo needs you to return a stolen item from some bantits who have it".
This is a destroy mission. Waypoint generated 889m from mission start. I delt with 3 bandits (Thug Faction) with HAM's of 285,313,& 408 at the wp.
Objective was present at wp first time mission attempted. Looted holocron splinters from one of the bandits.
P.S. In case someone was here looking for a jedi holocron, these are not it.
Holocron splinters must be in your main inventory after you return to Han and will be taken from your inventory in order to complete the quest.
Reward for quest completion of 950 credits.

Upon completion of this quest I received 200 credits as my reward... no faction points or loot.                                                                

So how long has this game been out and no one has yet to become a jedi? There has got to be many ways to become one and yet no one is a jedi yet                                                   

I can't be the first to notice the continuity error here.  In the movie Solo says "It's the ship that made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs". Here they have him say 17.... come on devs you gotta do better than that.                                      

During an IGN interview, one of the images and comments that the devs made was that the FS slot had something to do with jedi holocrons.  I've got a shattered (splintered?) holocron from a criminal on Endor--anyone know how to get it repaired?                                      

As far as I know, Holocron Splinters (=broken Holocrons) can only be repaired by Jedis. Jedi-Holocrons contain Force-Powers. If you aren't a Jedi, those broken Holocrons are worthless like a broken Datapad...                                      

i finished all of the missions and I can't find the players on Dantooine anyone know where they are?                                                                

Anyone who has completed this mission how did u get by by nien #4 the bug with not bein able to take to the trader is drivin me nuts any input would help   thanks..
                                                   

One thing I forgot, he uses the pieces to help him become jedi, NOT to become Force sensitive, he was already that. So most likely nothing to do with it.  FS is a completly different ball game.

Though, logic and continuity may be out the window when dealing with Sony :)

Maybe the holocron that Nym had is the one that Luke learns from in between "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".  That is unless the holocron he learned from was in Obi-Wan Kenobi's hut.                                      

Hmmm, I have read all the Star Wars books, teh Comic Books, The RPG game manuals and seen the movies.  In the liturature Luke uses an assembled Holicron to learn of the old Jedi ways. Wonder if a key to becoming a Jedi is to get all the pieces of a Holocron and learn how to become one. Sort of like a Novice trainer. Just my .2 worth.            

i have completed this mission and it gives you money and faction points.  It also gives you this item....(Holocron Splinters)??? what they are used for im not sure
