I did this quest not knowing what it was. I was at the Trade Outpost on Dathomir and saw Singular Nak standing there with the floating I above his head. So I went to talk to him to find out what his information was and he told me about the Ancient Broken Lightsaber he wanted me to fetch for him. Soon as I heard that I knew I would go get it and not bring it back. Any time you want something from a quest that you are supposed to bring back, just don't bring it back. I went and killed the Nightsister (Very easy to kill) and the Ancient Broken Lightsaber showed up in my inventory. The lightsaber isn't very fancy but it is still a lightsaber. So I took it home and put it on my Glass Top Table in the middle of my Holocron splinters I obtained from another NPC I did quests for. Click here to see a screenshot of my house and you can see the lightsaber on the table with the Holorcron splinters and a couple of crystals. I'll have a better screenshot of the table close up and of the lightsaber examine menu soon.

just did this quest last night on nauritus. the saber did not appear in my inventory when I talked to singular. killed the target. lightsaber appeared then. this one just said "lightsaber" not "ancient" or "broken". It was plain black with two buttons. it was unequipable, I did not look at its description then. put it in a bag in my backpack, returned to singular. he said something about "stolen I didnt steal it..." sry I didnt pay attention, was anxios to hang it on my wall. logged out then, got home just now logged in, it's gone. and singular just says we need to sever ties for awhile or something. oh well. glitch or no drop EQ style.

wat if u get the jedi saber when u get jedi can u give it to one of your friends and get him to give it to u and then repair it?

When I killed the night sister, she dropped a vibro lance with a poisen ability on the melee weapon with 40% chance and 3996 uses left on it.  Is this a rare item??? has anyone come across a drop like this ?                                      

This quest line seems to be kind of fixed, after talking to the first Nightsister and talking to Singular again, he asks you to deliver it to a second one who's name begins with a T.  Go talk to her and she says something about how the nightsisters were thinking about ripping off his head and just taking it instead of buying it, anyway, after that, you go talk to Singular again, and Lo! They found out it was a fake and sent an assassin after him. So then you go to kill the Nightsister Stalker (15k HAM mob), go back, and talk to him again. The greatest part about all this is you get absolutely nothing, not a single credit, or any items if you complete this quest line, WOOHOO!

I did his mission and have 5000 Nightsister faction. I talked to her and it turns out singular wanted to buy it but she wouldn't sell it to him. Even though she is evil Singular is the real bad guy.                                      

What are teh coord for the mission, i want to at least try :)                                                                

This quest actually works a bit wierdly, as you accept the mission you get a lighsaber into your inventory immediately, then just cancel the mission to have a free 'lightsaber' named object :)

I found an ancient broken lightsaber in the bazar of the trade outpost on dathomir... now i have to see if the quest works with this trick... :)

Anyway i heared a friend of mine that was called BY NAME (!!) on dathomir by a npg (an escaped nightsister slave if i remember correctly) who gave him a quest... at the end of this quesy my friend gained the 1st part of his jedi holocron!! with his name written on it!!
This appened on Bloodfin.

This doesn't work like he said i killed the nightsister and it didn't drop anything and when you go back nothing happens...plus when you first talk to him now the broken ancient lightsabor is in your inventoryto begin with. someone needs to fix this or make a new quest like it

Actually - after you acquire the broken lightsaber, when he sends you on the second part of the quest, it has now turned into a fake mock-up of a lightsaber. when you return to pickup the third part of te quest, he tells you that they sisters have sent an assassin (A Nightsister Stalker) top murder him for trying to pass off a fake as the original.After killing the assassin (and loosing one of my pets in the process) I returned to town and got 5 thousand @#%^ing credits, My god! I coulda got twice that in one @#%^ing baz-nitch lair quest! What a waste of @#%^ing time!  He won't talk to me at all anymore.

This quest is currently broken and cannot be completed. Even if you do manage to kill the Nightsister (who has some serious issues with spawning) and get back to Nak without getting incapped, he won't recognize the lightsaber properly.                                      

Where is this so called "Jedi store" on Coriella?  Cords anything?
                                                                

Ok here is the thing i did the quest i got the ligthsaber and then he asked for another misson but on that next misson i am suppost to deliver the lightsaber to this spider person but when i approch her she attacks me and i cant consver and then she kills me. Maybe i have to kill her not give her the ligthsaber?
