Cmdr. Jatrian Lytus (-4207,-2430) Quest #1

Details: On Dantooine, at the Dantooine Imperial Outpost, he's in the cantina.

Quest Details: "Jatrian needs you to get some Rogue Stormtroopers."

Cmdr. Jatrian Lytus says, �Good day to you, soldier. I have been briefed on your excellent performance in the field, therefore I am directing this assignment to you. I need you to intercept a squadon of soldiers that have gone rogue. Bring them back here for questioning. Understood?"

You say, "What do you mean 'gone rogue'?"

Cmdr. Jatrian Lytus says, "We have recieved reports that a group of stormtroopers have been raiding a nearby village known for their vocal sympathy towards rebels. Though I do not tolerate that type of scum, the murder on non-combatants will not be allowed. These stormtroopers are not
under my comand, therefore they are obviously deserters and need to be taken care of accordingly."

You say, "Yes, sir. I'll leave at once."

Cmdr. Jatrian Lytus says, "Very good. I would not be surprised to find them reticent to your apprehending them. If they cjoose not to come willingly, then use whatever force is needed. I would prefer the outcome to entail your bringing in at least one of them for questioning."

This can be a simple delivery mission, or a destroy/delivery depends on if your covert, or overt. If covert simple mission. There are 2 imperial deserters that attack you "if your overt" as you get near the Rogue
Stormtrooper Commander, they have 8700-8900 hams. Kill them if your overt, all but the Commander, and leave them be if covert, unless you wnat the fp for the kills & xp.

When you get close to the Rogue Stormtrooper Commander he says, "Over there... a witness. Take him out before the operation is uncovered."

Even though the Rogue Stormtrooper Commander is a Red Con when your overt, and has rebel tags, he won't attack you, unless you attack him.

You talk to the Rogue Stormtrooper Commander.

Rogue Stormtrooper Commander says, "I surrender. Take me to your Commander at once. I am a special agent for the Empire."

Return to Cmdr. Jatrian Lytus.
Reward of 200 imperial faction points.

Cmdr. Jatrian Lytus says, "You have done well, soldier. This will be marked on your record, I hope you know. As for this commander, I will speak ith him personally and discern why he deserted the Empire."

By: Arzs 46 posts Score: Default [2.47]	Well after reading this sysnopisis, I am more confused than I was to begin with. The lack of basic grammar skills is appauling. iI just tried this quest and I was OVERT. Upon reaching the Rogue Troopers, ALL THREE ATTACKED! I killed the two troopers and let the commander live and peaced out. I ran to clear aggro and then tried approaching him once again. This didn't work. So now I am working on this quest for the 5th time and still no luck. Apprantly, the Commander now attacks even if you are OVERT or not and therefore the quest can not be completed. I am currently waiting on my covert status to go into effect so that I may try again under a differnt status. I will post the results depending upon the outcome.

By: sriney 10 posts Score: Default [2.33]	There's a third part to this now, only it seems to be broken... I'll explain... You return to the commander who's going on like a little @#%^ baby about how the inquisitor treated him badly, "and if he knew who my family was..." some BS like that. At any rate, he sends you out to find this Information Broker that has some old family pictures of the Commander. He also qualifies it with "You never know where the rebels are hiding, so be extremely covert about the pickup and delivery of this information." That's all fine and dandy, but you get to the Information Broker and as you approach he says, "Hey, are you the guy who wanted to pick up this holovid?" (or something to that effect). At any rate, when you <converse> with the guy, all he replies back with is "Gotowork." That's it... one word. Sounds a little like programming language with maybe a space missing or some character out of place. Whatever it is, the holovid never appears and the mission is incapable of being finished at this time. And Yes, I did even try killing him and trying to loot it off of his body. He never dropped it, but as a side note, he does drop about 100-140 credits... kind of makes it worth while to keep spawning him and killing him (goes down easy with 2x LegShot2).

By: Anonymous Score: Default [1.50]	This may be related with the "Gotowork" thingie. If you talk to Firdad Sun (sp? Part of the Jabba quest) out in Tatooine's desert, he will also say the same thing. Mainly, I THINK (it's been a long time) he says this after you have successfully talked to him; you just go back to the one who gave you the mission. Did you check your Datapd and not the inventory? Heck, sometimes, you don't get an item anywhere, but you can still complete the mission. Just give it a try. Many times, you can't finish it, but it can't hurt.
