As soon as you get in range of the contact, two rebel NPCs spawn and walk toward him. If you're an Imp, you can just kill them and then converse with the contact. If you're a Reb like me, you just have to hop off of your speeder real quick and /conv the contact before the Rebel NPCs initiate combat. Same rules apply for a few other missions in this chain. In addition to the cash reward, I got 40 (or 50) Imp faction pts even though I'm a covert rebel. Wish I had taken better notes on this mission chain, but I didn't know it wasn't already detailed here. Second mission also gives faction and cash. Rest of the chain gives increasing cash rewards. (Around) 5 Missions in all (I think!).

I'm a rebel.  capt. P still gave me the mission. I ran outside of town to the imperial officer who ased me to save him from the attacking rebels. Not likely. I shot him, then went back to capt P who asked if I had finished the mission yet. Hah, what a bugged mission.                         

Its true. The 2� mission is broken. Tell the Devs to Fix it!!!

He won't work either if you are not in empire, i made this mission before becoming one... First he says gotowork and then act as a normal recruiter, and if you go to Pellaeon, he says have you delivred it?? I sent a customer service ticket, and they said that it is a known issue, and they work hard on it...                         

I just finished this mission, and he gives you 100 credits, and says that the empire appreciates your services blah blah blah.                                                                

You cannot complete this quest, when you save him from the 2 rebels (spec ops troopers) he wont discuss the mission if you are in the empire.
