C-3PO is located within the main building of the Hidden Rebel base at LOC -6508, 5985 on Corellia. When your converse with him this is what he has to say:
Go to the waypoint and speak with Selonian contact.
Selonian Contact says, "You are who the Princess sends with the comestibles, yes? Ahhh.... Tes... nutritous comestibles for many. The princess should be told that this will be held within our memories."
i wish they did like the imp theme park had every one on one planet in same place instead of having to travel to 3 different planets just to finish the themepark.
This was an easy to do mission good for beginers in my eyes. I only had 220 rebel faction when I decided to start the missions and I had no problem doing it. Good luck to all
I soloed this entire themepark with my musician/entertainer/smuggler, using a reb pet and my cowardly gurreck. I recieved all the faction points, credits, and all the gifts...no marine backpack, but a flight-suit. Don't get discouraged by earlier posts. There are rebel mission terminals there, if you need to gain the required 200 faction points to enter.
BTW...the base is on your POI list, and you can get there with a speeder in several minutes from Kor Vella.
After completing this mission, you also get 10 Rebel Faction points - plus 1 bonus point during Act 2 of "Cries of Alderaan".
Object you are give to carry to the waypoint for this mission is an Elegant Woven Basket.
Ahh man, you know nothing about the Star Wars timeline, there is about 2 to 3 years between Episode 4 and Episode 5 fool, if you going to talk about the devs, make sure you info is correct you moron.

I have been doing these missions from the base I am now on the sencond last one given out by the doctor (before the wedge missions) at first before the big patch I got zero of the rewards even though I was told it's in your bag etc etc etc.
Anyhoo at the point I'm at you end up fighting storm troopers and commanders so if you not leveled up dont bother you get wasted very quickly oh and locations of missions change so co-ords are pointless the base however is always there.
The Protocol Droid seen wandering around at the 1st floor of the Rebel hideout isn't C-3PO. It's a red protocol droid. C-3PO remains stationary near R2-D2 inside on the first floor.
Weird, I managed to target it (that was prior to my gaining sufficient Rebel Faction Points (RFP)to gain entry) and it ID'd as C-3PO. That was 2 days after release. Not sure if they changed it or if it was a fluke of ghosting. I'm heading back there soon, since I just got the 200 RFPs. Long run from Kor Vella for a wimpy Artisan type like myself. 8)
First, you need to obtain 200 in Rebel Faction Points (RFP). You can do this by running missions you get by conversing with Rebel NPCs you meet out in the wilderness or by running missions from Rebel Mission Terminals located in various towns across the universe. You can also obtain RFPs by killing Imperial NPCs. There are a few other ways of gaining RFPs, such as battlefields, but the ones I mentioned are the easiest way to get started.
Once you have accumulated 200 RFPs, seek out a Rebel Recruiter. These are usually located in the same towns that have Rebel Mission Terminals. Converse with a Recruiter and you will get an option to join the Rebel cause. Once you have joined (whether Overt/Declared or Covert), you will be eligible to start running the missions at the base. Joining allows you access to the interior of the building where you should initially talk with C-3P0 to start the mission sets. I believe you can also join the Rebel cause by talking with some of the Rebel NPCs you meet in the wilds once you have your 200 RFPs.
I recieved the mission went to the waypoint and the individual was not there, unfortunatly Aa half dead storm trooper was, he then kicked my but for good measure. After respawning I waited a day, in hope that the person would reespawn (and the storm trooper would get bored) came back and the individual is still not there. Anybody got any ideas?
Those spawns are triggered by your conversation with the NPC that gave that mission. Thus, if your spawn isn't where you were expecting him, just seek the NPC that gave you that mission and Converse with him. He will give you the choice to abandon the quest he has given you. Choose that, and Converse with him again. He will then offer you the same quest again, which will make the target respawn.
It would be nice if with the loc you added the star port closest to a place since a loc does not help until you are on the planed and in the star port the furthest away... least that is how it seems to happen for me ;(

NO! Don't confuse themparks witht he story missions. Story missions will be much longer than (most) themepark missions, and have multiple steps including, Assembling a transmitter, accuiring a transmission, contacting a contact, doing a adv. destroy mission. These TP missions are more like, contact a person.
Well i just started running these missions and I too got no faction, but im not really surprised. If you run missions from anything but a terminal i don't think you really get anything good... so far all ive gotten is a bunch of junk.
Just complete all 4 of this mission last night and my reward was:
part 1 : droid battery
part 2 : loud speakers
part 3 : an official proclamation
part 4 : swoop helmet
As of today 8/13/03 I was awarded 50 credits and a droid battery from this mission. There was no faction message so I will have to check on the third mission.
The reward is faction points. The message dispayed says that the reward is placed in your backpack but nothing appears, thats because your reward is faction points not a physical item. You do not need the marine Backpack to get the reward.
I know alot of people who read about the Rebel base and ran up there to get a peek at C-3PO and Leia, so I thought I'd post this as a caveat. You must be Rebel aligned to enter the building with C-3PO. You can enter the base perimeter defensive wall and roam through the outer buildings and the outer second floor walkway of the main building as a neutral, but you are denied access to the interior. C-3PO roams near the lower entrance to the building and you can see him walking around. If you talk to some of the Rebels scattered around the base they will tell you it takes 200 Rebel points to join their cause. I did not find any NPCs offering missions on the exterior of the main building.
The terrain surrounding the base is fairly mountainous, so Terrain Negotiation is real plus. The Imperials are apparently aware the base is there and have forces in the area. I encountered 2 Imperial Generals among the the several Imp outposts I wandered through. The Rebels also have patrols out and CorSec has a few camps also. There are also some pretty powerful and generally hostile (at least to me) thug types in the area. I encountered these to the NW of the base and managed to hide in a CorSec camp. Everything I found in this area was a red con. I did find several people soloing the Imp trooper patrols just south of the base. One was a well advanced Creature Handler, and the other appeared to be using sniper skills.
So, if you are planning to take a run up to the base .... keep a close eye on your radar. The area is extremely faction conscious with quite a few patrols of differing factions dotting the countryside.
