There's lots of reasons why that list isn't all there, and why it's not necessarily the order devs are focusing on things now. For example, DPOIs are harder to make than static content, and if the playerbase says "we need more content, NOW!" static is absolutely the fastest way to get you more stuff to do. Yes, it carries problems with it as well, but there's tradeoffs to everything. So we're picking the path that we think gets you what you want as soon as possible. Some of those got derailed by technical things. Some just didn't turn out to be that cool (dynamic content has a real lack of "sense of place" for example).
I think that long-term, all of these will continue to get explored by MMOs including SWG. Nobody's crossing 'em off the list--we're just trying to set priorities on what sort of content to give you first.

I used to be the Creative Director for Star Wars Galaxies. That means that I was basically in charge of the game design throughout development and a little while after it launched as well. I'm also the Chief Creative Officer for Sony Online Entertainment. In that capacity, I am trying to help improve all the SOE games, improve our community relations, and in general, try to push the design boundaries for MMOs.
So whats the next proffession you have to grind to unlock your CEO sensative slot?

I would just like to point out that the DPOIs from the hermit quest have been far and away the single most popular quest type activity in this game. Sure there has been alot of complaining about how hard/rare etc. but most of it is only because people want to do it. No badge earns more respect then the hermit badges and no activity has been as activily persued (excluding jedi) more the hermit quests.
Personally I would love to see hermit quest types things at the very least added to every planet in the game. Hunting for these things can be fun as long as it doesn't venture into teh realm of nigh-on-to-impossible.

Cool beans guys, I think once people have seen space from the Imperial and rebel spaceships, and a few lucky ducks have DeathWatch armor, they would be more open to seeing more 'hero on the spot' stuff developed and pushed to live. There are only so many caves to do in a period of time before everyone could use a break from 'em for a while.
Aside from those nostalgic, many that have come on since then seem to enjoy the Tat. hermit and so on, but also want some meat to the GCW so everyone can get involved (PvE'ers could clear strongholds to actually help out, crafters get factional schematics and so on.) An rebel stronghold on Tat. built like Fort Tusken [though with terminals & cantina/med-center] or shuttling to kill the Stormtroopers in the tutorial space-station would be cool.
