Edit: We are actively working on the broken missions and droids right now, but the fix is not on TC2 yet.

Against the knights...
 
-when im KD'd im getting hit for 400-500 damage per swing.
 
-When im on my feet i'm getting hit for approx 70-350 per swing.
 
-Im hitting them approx 10-15% of the time
 
-when i do hit them, it's for about 7-20 damage, unless i use fastblast which hits them for about 250 damage

The force defense tree is rediculous. Firing torso shot i'm hitting them 1/10 times, when it does hit im doing less than 20 damage. Thats a dps of less than 2! Doing 2 damage a second against a 3k HAM takes quite a while, not to mention they can heal their whole bar anyway. In order to do any damage at all we are forced to use bugged specials like unarmed combo,scatterhit (for non bh's) and fastblast. Any other special is worthless

ok i've been on TC2 with my MBH for about 3 hours now testing out pvp.  First thing i did was to grab a mission of a jedi online, went through the usual process and like normal the droids were bugged to wherever the jedi last logged off.  I then dueled numerous jedi and although i pride mysel fon being a very decent pvp'er even though i have a mbh build, i could not touch them.  Master defense is to strong by far, even when knocked down, stunnned, dizzied, blind, bleeding burning and being shot by LLC single 2 i could not even get him past 9/10 of a health bar before he was up and healed all states and damage.  You really need to rethink the defense trees in jedi if you want Bounty hunters to be able to stand a chance against jedi

Sorry G but you guys need to listen to those of us that have been testing this stuff.......
I'm a padawan on TC2 and can own most MBH in seconds (also TKM/MF/MB), if they run and try to kite me it takes anythign upto 30 seconds to waste 'em. I also play an MBH on live and when this patch goes in, unless BH get some REAL help, i'll not be bothering even trying to hunt jedi...theres nothing i can do to one apart from provide him entertainment from his grind :/
As for the MBH testing on TC2, i gave it a try and as the BH community has been saying for some time now DROIDS DON'T WORK. They give a WP but it's never correct, usually on the wrong planet, half the jedi are offline when the seekers are telling us the mark is right beside us.
C'mon Devs, you say you want us to hunt and kill jedi?.....make yourself an MBH and give it a try, hunt all levels of Jedi. When you're sick of being pwnd and laughed at for being BH, please consider fixing what could be one of the most exciting proffessions in the game

Thanks to make us mbh on the test center .
 
1) kd doesn t really makes it often
2)they make damage of 250 to 350 on me
3) it s very difficult to hit them , i when i hit them it s about 30 to 70
4)only fast blast makes damage (real damage)
5)their regenation is too strong
 
 
Most important
 
1) missions still don t work : wp droids are still wrong wp
2) tef groups on mission don t work
 
Hope jedi s won t be as so strong live(LOL) it s bH death or only by large group .
 
Anyway thanks to make us trying on tc2  and hope you will make rebalance before live .
 
Good luck devs help us both jedi and bh

I beg of you Bounty Hunters BOYCOTT this test.
 
Refuse to be a pawn in the furthering of eventual Jedi take over of this game.
 
Demand improvments in the Bounty Hunter Profession!
 
Demand official acknowledgement of our Issues and a reasonable time plan for getting them adressed.
 
Do NOT accept the answer that "All will be well after combat revamp".  Prove it to us!  Tell us (Devs) your plans!
 
Think clearly.  This testing is for the benefit of  the Jedi NOT you!  This single small profession is dominating nearly all dev time for the next 2 publishes!
 
BOYCOTT this test.  It is unreasonable and unrealistic.

Are there plans to ACTUALY FIX the missions? I really dont like playing on Test if all i get to do is stand around Theed jumping the Jedi that are Rebels.
 
Jedi show up on the terminals, but they are either off line, or the waypoints dont update correctly. I got waypoints on planets the Jedi hadnt been on for a DAY! Its fun to take a break from the normal servers, but if nothing but the Jedi are getting tested, its a waste to play for more than half an hour, unless you ARE a Jedi.

Don't forget that SWG is now Jedi Wars.  the defenses are for Jedi vrs Jedi fighting.  Bounty Hinters are Low offense / low defense. and Jedi are 20-30% better than the best combat profession template (or so the dev's have indicated) so they should be 90% better than us.
 
G and the Dev's have no idea what they have done to BHers over the last year.  and these new changes have just made us worse.
 
When I logged into Test2 last night, there was a Jedi there, who was basically killing all the MBHer as we stood there.  we did no real damage to him, and it was a slaughter - 1 Jedi vrs all the BHers.  nice new world you created here Devs
 
and for the person who 1stared me - go back to macroing your jedi on your balcony.
 
before someone questions the comment let me clarify.  the Jedi was dueling Bhers

I love the hawtpants! Oh, and as for the PvP part, the Jedi are very difficult to kill. The combination of the insane amount of blocking that they do, along with all the toughness/force armor makes it next to impossible to damage them. There is one weakness though (not fast blast, although fast blast does rock), and you should be able to kill the majority of Jedi with it, if you can stay alive long enough (that's a big IF). The delay in weapon switching also adds in another huge disadvantage.

I've played as a BH and as a Jedi on live for several months.   I pvp a lot on live.
 
 
My thoughts from last night while playing as a MBH on TC2:
 
Generally speaking, master bounty hunters are not equipped to hunt and kill Jedi.
 
Consideration:
 
BH droids are useless.    The reason they are useless is that they only give the location where the "Jedi offense" occurred (as far as I can tell).    As a result, an offense may have occurred in Theed, but the Jedi was actually taking a starflight to Corellia.      Therefore, the MBH is out-of-luck... the Jedi grinds on Dathomir and logs out for the night.
 
Suggestion:   
 
Update the waypoints (and planet locations) to where the Jedi are located when the BH launched the droid.    I suggest within a margin of error +/- 2k for the Jedi's location.    As a result, if the Jedi is actually on Dathomir, the droid will report a waypoint that is close but not exact to the Jedi's location.   
 
 
Consideration:
 
Bounty Hunters have no real melee defenses.  Also, Bounty Hunters don't have enough LLC accuracy/speed to use this weapon in battle.     The Bounty Hunter has to be very close to use the LLC and since they have no real melee defenses, they'll be dead trying to use this weapon in battle.  Therefore, one complete skill branch of the BH's skills is useless.
 
Suggestion:
 
I suggest Bounty Hunters should get a boost of LLC accuracy (double it) and speed (perhaps 50% faster).   Also, I suggest Bounty Hunters should have around +65 Melee defense.
 
 
 
Consideration:
 
Bleeds are extremely important for buffed battles.   The Bounty Hunter's bleed (as well as the Jedi saber slash bleed) is pointless since it is low damage and it bleeds all HAM pools.   Therefore, the Bounty Hunter and Jedi bleeds are useless.
 
Suggestion:
 
I suggest the Bounty Hunter bleed to target a single HAM pool and be around the strength of the Health Shot 2.   Perhaps the BH bleed should target the action or mind pool specifically?   The same for the Jedi's slash; it should target a specific pool.   As I've noticed in buffed PvP time and again, whoever has the specific HAM bleed is probably going to win the buffed PvP.
 
 
 
Consideration:
 
Bounty Hunters have no real "power" attacks.   For example, a "stopping shot" type attack for pistol.   DOT and state changes do no real damage in buffed battles, and if when stick, the BH really has no "stopping shot" type attack to follow-up with if the target is laying on the ground.   
 
 
Suggestion:
 
Bounty Hunters need a powerful "stopping shot" type attack for pistols and for carbines (something powerful to use if a target is dizzy'ed and knockdowned).
 
 
 
Consideration & Suggestion:
 
I suggest since Jedi are doing more damage that Bounty Hunters need 1 more pistol state effect added to Fast Blast.   I suggest that Fast Blast should alway intimidate the target when the shot lands.   I believe the Fast Blast intimidate should be somewhere between intimidate 1 and intimidate 2.
 
 
 
 
Lastly, consider giving Stimpack Bs (+300 heals) to MBH on TC2 so we can pickup novice medic for testing.
 
As it stands now, since MBH can't track Jedi (see above) and they have no real "power" shots (see above), I suggest MBH are basically testing how to kill time as opposed to kill Jedi.

After testing jedi for a week or 2 now i decided to stop and wait till they fix and balance jedi as currently jedi is boring even rankings due the 20-30 damage hits in pvp as soon as they fixed this and balanced jedi low vs high level i go back to testing.

So i went bh...

Jedi in pvp seems to hit bh's around 200 damage in pvp using specials and around 350 if knocked down.

High level jedi (near knight) are almost impossible to solo if they stacked defense but they can be taken down very very easy with a group of 2 or 3 bh's even easier if they didn't attacked defenses.

Also, as a sidenote, please do not allow players to use the medical center elevator if they are currently in combat.
 
Last night, most of the Jedi I battled were running to the elevator and going up and down to prevent death.
 
 
 
This "tactic" is VERY close to using a locked house (before they prevented entry if you were TEF'ed).
