BH Skill Point Reduction delayed until 7/6/04...

It is currently on Test Center. Unfortunately, it is grouped with other fixes to other areas of the game that we are still working on (ie: some things failed regression testing.).
 
We can't seperate it from the other fixes and push it out tomorrow, I am sorry :-(
 
It will go out next Tuesday.
 
Additionally, today our Lead Programmer assigned himself all of your open bugs, so they will be fixed at some point in time, as soon as we can.
 
Our apologies for the delay in the skill point reduction.

great,  while your lead dev is working on Bh...wanna put a person into dedicating all his time to getting the wookiee armor put in before 2 patches from now?  seems we've been waiting a lot longer for some decent armor.  like...since day 1.  The BH change was a rush change....and its getting more attention than wookiees?
 
something is wrong here.
 

The dev team would never allow any kind of imbalance so that one group of people would "cut swaths" through crowds of people.

Not sure why you are calling this a fix, why not just remove all the Ranged professions from the game? 

JustQ, I was is 100% support of this change until I actually faught a Jedi (post patch) and had all 12 of my shots blocked, 90% of the 15 Stormtroopers that were around me had thier shots blocked and all this by a Low to Moderate level Jedi.

What good will adding more Ranged skills do to that? 

Is the point of this game to be a Melee profession?  Last I check, there were not to many (if any at all) Swordsman, TKA, Fencers, or Pikeman Stormtroopers or Rebels in the Star Wars Universe.

 

Why are you all doing everything you can to gimp ranged professions?
