JediMasterGonzo, you must lead a very, very boring life.  Additionally, you don't have the slightest idea of how business works.

So, you don't want to have fun?  Then what's the point of playing the game.  If you don't care about having fun then why don't you go clean out some septic systems or something?  That's not fun and according to you neither should the game so it's all in the same boat.

Believe it or not, the only reason games sell in mass quantities are because they are fun.  The only reason a large number of people play games is because they are fun.  If something's not fun why waste time when you can be doing something more entertaining?

"Just because you don't think something is fun does that mean I need to agree with you and allll of sony needs to as well????"

I can't think of very many people who would enjoy scouring a planet searching for certain NPCs to talk to.  Apparently, however, you would.  I wouldn't be surprised if you see a psychiatrist and discuss with him/her about how bad your life is.  If you don't you need to.

"i laughed because the guy is saying hes going to cancel because he cant get jedi.. tahts stupid and deserves to be laughed at.. "

You keep digging yourself in a deeper and deeper hole, don't you?  It's good you won't be posting anymore; I'm getting sick of your lies and hypocrisy.  As it's evident you don't know what hypocrisy is, here's something to help you: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=hypocrisy.

Somebody up in this thread said unlocking the slot isn't a selling point of the game.

Somebody gave themselves a lobotomy for breakfast.

That's like saying naked ladies aren't a selling point for strip clubs. It's really the fine beverages and commaradery that strip clubs provide that draw people in. The naked ladies are just a bonus perk.

Jedis are Star Wars.

Until people are playing Force Sensitive characters in this game, it's not Star Wars.

End.

Me: Oh, I stopped playing when holocrons came out. I just check macros now.

OMG someone who has an understanding of what Star Wars is for most people!  I thought it'd never happen!

You're so wrong there.
It's not StarWars to _You_. To those of us who're old enough to remember the original 3 films releases. Just being able to play in the world we've only been able to watch on the screen. Dream about and play in imaginary pen and paper and dice rpg games. Wish for. To us, this game is StarWars. Even though many of us would love to get that FS slot, the game is still what we've wished for. For a very long time.

All comments that state perfectly normal gameplay will be the key to unlocking the slot, and all comments that assume that FS/Jedi are somehow a selling point for the game, generally fail to acknowledge the stated intention of keeping Force sensitivity very, very, very rare.

I acknowledge that it is very rare.  What you (and many others) don't understand is that it's the fantasy of becoming a jedi that keeps it alive.  Yes, the path is different for everyone.  However, when a majority of people hear that you have to search every square inch of every planet and talk to every NPC (even though it's just a theory) the fantasy dies.  This is what everyone fails to understand.

Now he drops the fact that he made something up.  I love ignorant scumbags, they are such a good source of entertainment despite the fact that if you're not careful they'll lower your intelligence.
