Didn't read most the posts....but yes, you very well CAN trade Sabers. The dev's stated that you can use another persons Saber, even, but to get the full effectiveness of a Lightsaber, you must use your own.
Yeah, but HOLO posted not long ago that they were changing this
Did more planets open up to you to be able to visit on the galatic map?
there are a few planets that show that we cant goto and the dev's said in the past certain planets would open up to players once they completed things, but they didnt make what things clear.
Comparing the 2 posts so far, what do they have in common? lots of professions mastered.. thats it...
Zina - Did you use holocrons? if so how many and which professions were mastered before, during and after the holocron went silent
Just pointing some out. Both of them also visit every planet and did missions from every planet. Both of them own houses and at one time or other declared residences and use up all their lots. Both of them at one time or other have join a PA.
I want to switch gears (sort of). I think a very many of you are looking for a checklist recipe. I'm very nearly 100% certain that I read some authoritah or other here make the statement that the path to become a Jedi is different for everyone.
If that last statement is true, then I propose the concept that for different types of actions, (Jedi) points are awarded, and that when you have made enough points, you open the slot. For example, perhaps one way to gather points is to visit a city - but you only get points the first time you visit a city. Maybe you get a bonus if you visit all cities. Maybe you get points if you visit the areas of the world the devs spend a lot of time working on, like Theme Parks. Which I've never been to. Maybe you get points for each profession you master. Base professions, elite professions, whatever. Someone's holocron told them "Medic". The general consensus was that that profession a) wasn't previously attempted by that player, and b) she got really lucky with Medic, because that was a heckuva lot easier than Master Musician. Maybe you get points for time online, maybe you get points for the total amount you've /tip ped or traded or sold, etc.
The idea is that creating a points system removes the reliance on specific actions being taken - because let's face it - that would ruin it for many of us if someone came back and posted something like "Padawan Training in Ten Easy Steps". For me, I'm kinda hoping there are points allocated for square kilometers explored. I wouldn't mind exploring all there is to see. I've three characters on three servers now. I think it's best to move back to one char and start racking up the points. Which I hope are awarded for different types of things. I really hope that you lose points for being out of character. I hope you get points for remaining in character. I think that would flesh out the game a little bit. I hope that when you get the points required, that you don't automatically become one. I hope an internal notice is sent to the devs or CSRs or whomever, so that they can monitor you in-game for a bit. To see if you truly should become wise in the ways of The Force. The path to become a Jedi should be a hard one, but I hope there are many paths to choose from.

Just for you Bounty Hunters out there who want to kill Jedi. My name's Noics on Bloodfin, let me know so that I can hunt you down to the ends of time. I'm one BH who will destroy anyone who blinks wrong at the word Jedi much less says they'll kill them.
i hope its permanent, because if they have been flaunting their powers or flashing their saber enough to get their name known throughout the galaxy.they suffer the same risk as jedi in the books.it wasnt wise to be popular when you are a jedi.
