*EDITED WITH UPDATES*
Nutrients seem to be any harvested organics as far as I can tell. I have used wheat, fungi,
tubers and berries in an attempt to be balanced...
If only there was some bat guano available at the borgle cave...

Will edit and update daily.
Please post your plant care regiment here so we can establish some sort of baseline.
They seem to update on 3hr cycles if you stay logged in, otherwise, it is difficult to determine.
Also, I have noticed, that sometimes the first viewing will not show the refreshed condition. I find
it best to view, then close window, step outside, wait 3-5mins, and view again.  Status will then
update.
I am going to go with dry, since moist/fertile seemed to burn it a bit.

Day 45 2pm:

Health: Fair
Growth Rate: None
Water Level: Very Dry
Nutrient Level: Very Low
Unsure if growth dissipated because I didn't log or due to change in health...dropping Water down to Arid.

Day 50 3:30am:

Health: Fair
Growth Rate: Very Slow
Water Level: Very Dry(1)
Nutrient Level: Very Low(2)
Been away a bit, and this JtL lag is GAMEBREAKING for my Knight, so I am waiting it out...anyhow, it took me
the better part of this last week to realize that my plant wants the Nutrient level one notch ABOVE the water level.
It continues to maintain its growth level for at LEAST one cycle, possibly two, before dropping to zero growth.
However, if I leave both levels equal, growth remains NONE.  Just an fyi, for those that perhaps are frustrated with narrow
windows of growth.

Day 51 3:30pm:

Health: Good
Growth Rate: Very Slow
Water Level: Arid(2)
Nutrient Level: Miniscule(2)
Rate was wilting earlier, had to reset levels to Very Dry(1)/Very Low(1) to return to Slow Growth. Going to let it run out to
none before updating again.

Day 54 3:30pm:

Health: Good
Growth Rate: Very Slow
Water Level: Very Dry(1)
Nutrient Level: Very Low(1)
I had not loaded into the house where my plant is for two days, and I found it utterly unchanged.

Day 2 it started to wilt for me as well.

Tried the Level above "Above Normal" for both requiments.

Still wilting.

Just now set it to Below Normal on both.

See what happens.

Prowess bonus quest (second) at Villiage. It's a hard to care for plant, that will give fruit later. As to what it does, I dunno yet. Just got mine tonight along with the +5 combat med experimentation necklace.

I've also got a plant, and took some water and nutrient out so it was normal again, will update you after server down to see what has progressed. Seems like anything can be used as nutrients, but what i have been using is water and flora with high DR and OQ..not sure if that helps, only time will tell i suppose.

Start:
Health: Good
Gr Rate: Normal
Water: Normal
Nutrient: Normal

Day 1 (After a couple hours):
Health: Good
Gr Rate: Slow
Water: Dry
Nutrient: Low

At this point i adjusted Water to Moist and Nutrient to High.

Day 2
Health: Good
Gr Rate: Wilted
Water: Moist
Nutrient: High

I set the water and nutrient to the value i had during day 1 and now i'm waiting to see what happens.

Why not try like you would a normal plant? Keep soil fairly dry at start, with little nutrients so its forced to grow fast to stay alive and establishes a root base then gradually build up

(Tis what a year or two of growing weed at university has taught me )

On a lighter note - I WANT ONE!!!! Wish i'd read rewards before choosing quest :/

Soil: Moist
Food: Above normal
Growing

Added one piece of water and turned to wilting so I removed the water and am leaving it alone..

I BELIEVE it might be random.
