1) I unlocked my FS char slot with a bothan male character..

2) I went ahead and made a jedi that was a twilek, to play around with.

3) A few days later, I deleted my main bothan character that I unlocked with.. and remade a human in it's place.

No problem.. It let me do it fine, and at this point I now had a human main character, and my jedi twilek character.

4) Now here is the bad part... I deleted the twilek jedi, to remake my jedi as a human..  When I attempted to remake the jedi character, it gave me the message you normally get when you are only allowed 1 character per server.. "You cannot create any more characters on this galaxy"

Apparently this is not even a bug.. The jedi _slot_ itself is tied into your main character.. a CSR told me I If not im quitting the game, this is way too frustrating... would not be able to get a new jedi character now unless i REUNLOCK my slot...

Any suggestions anyone?

(PS: I had unlocked my jedi the first time around after 16 professions... so i was not really one of the "lucky" ones)

Umm why the hell did you delete your main character? Your Jedi is not an "extra" character on the server you doof. It is a bonus and OBVIOUSLY it is tied directly to THAT character! Why else would you go through all that?

I'd just quit the game if that happend to me, I'm just playing to Jedi anyways to see if it can re-gain my interest in this game. And maybe on my quest to Jedidom they'll put in some actual content and I may have...gasp, FUN with my main character, too

Hrmm I often wondered about this.   I've seen many posts asking this question but can't remember the answers or if there even was a solid answer.

So I guess the answer is to never delete the first char and for anyone out there that has keep rerolling your Jedi and never (try) recreate it !!  

This is so unfortunate for you.  

This is one bit of Jedi info that should have been public knowledge.

Shutup, idiot.  What the dev's had said was:

"You will 'unlock' a force sensitive slot that will allow you to create another character on the same server"

There was 'NO' info said about it being locked to your account, because they dev's don't like giving away any info on Jedi anyways.  I think what happened to the guy here is just BS.  Though I'm wondering 'why' he would delete his main character, I do think he should be allowed to create an FS character again.  He did earn it already, and it's 'account' based, not Character based.  Don't believe me?  Try to unlock 2 Jedi on One account.  You can't.  It's account based.

I would try and contact a dev (not CSR) and see if they can sort this out. I expect you already have started this process. Its a mistake that anyone could make and if it wasnt detailed in any email when you got the FS slot then how could you know.

Contact them and raise a storm,, if they dont post that this can happen, its there fault not yours,

This guy should be able to recreate a FS char.  anything else is bull**edit**.

I had thought about deleting my main since I had used her to secure my Jedi's name. Guess we all know better now.
