This list represents the issues whose resolution are required to ensure this revamp is a success:
 
1. Lightsaber damage carefully examined and increased
Taurin has requested saber stats from people on TC2, I'm sure it will be evident just how underpowered the sabers are even at 4th generation. 
 
Dave stated our sabers should be doing a MAX of 500 in PVP...they currently do 500 a hit in just PVE with normal attacks only if you have an all damage pearl 4th gen.....  This is very important to us, we no longer weild kinetic baseball bats, however the damage output even on a 4th gen saber with all pearls has gone down 600%.

 
2. Skill point system carefully examined and relaxed
 
First off, having to spend 24 skill points in force sensitive skills and having all skill boxes RAISED in skill cost is a very bad combo.
 
8,6,4,2 is simply too restrictive.  We have jedi coming from a system where you can have all powers, to a system where you can not possibly have even the most basic powers and be viable. 
 
That's just not "fun."  This revamp is about what is fun, as much as what is good for the game as a whole.   
 
We aren't looking for overpowered here, but we would like to be able to have viable templates and still have enough points to learn some of the necessities such as Meditate and Force run.
 
Please lower the skill requirements to 7,5,3,1 which will let jedi master 2 trees and achieve 4444 in another.  This is hardly overpowered, will still allow for great diversification between Jedi, and will discourage dabblers.  Please do us this one favor, it is not asking too much
 

 
3. Skill Conversion
 
The Initiate tree boxes of Jedi, while being less experience overall, should have a greater weight applied to them compared to the higher level boxes. 
 
The reason is, it is incredibly harder to achieve Padawan then it is to achieve Guardian on a purely XP to XP ratio. 
 
This translates into a disparity in effort if only the experience needed is what is gauged.
 
The Jedi community would like to have this conversion algorithm plaintively explained and presented prior to conversion.  It is our right as players who are being converted into a completely new system to at least understand empirically how this process is being done in the eventuality some considerations such as the above stated are not accounted for.  /legalese off
 
 

 
4. Make sure that our power level at the max PVE level (just before Knight) is commensurate with the incredible amount of time it takes to get to that point. 
 
Grinding professions, doing quests for 6 months, and churning the equivalent of 100 normal professions in experience MUST equal a very powerful character.  You can't expect any player to have a desire to go through all of this if they are only going to be marginally better than a FOTM template.  Giving us a more robust template by lowering skill costs is a big step in the right direction.
The FRS can build upon this and further increase a Jedi's power, but with the incredible requirements on the class, there must be a reward in power. 
 

 
5. Twin crystals converted to color crystals just like regulard crystals (In a pole saber they already
convert to pearls like other sabers FYI )
 
This should be fixed soon supposedly?
 

 
6. Both characters becoming Force Sensitive when you unlock in the new system, or at the very least an option box to choose which character you want FS. 
 
As a matter of fairness, both characters should be FS....to give that reward to people that unlock before publish 9 only is very unfair and will leave permanent bitterness.
 

 
7. Meditate should be in Synergy 1 and have +meditate bonuses up through master just like TKA.
 
This not only makes very logical sense, but it is a very cool dynamic how the TKA meditate scales in power.  Additionally a self buff should be included just like TKA at the highest level so we don't have to rely on doctors.
 
 

 
8. Master Healing should be able to cure a firedot (Master healers will most likely be rare)
 

 
9. Color Crystals must be a quest or craftable item, there's no reason a Jedi should ever be without a saber
 
Our number 1 complaint with Jedi has always been the requirement for loot components just to be able to use our weapons effectively.  Making all saber crystals solely lootable is taking us down this same path.  If there were a way to obtain Color and even damage crystals from quests the community would be very happy.
 

 
10. Lower the amount of Jedi XP needed for the 4440 portion of the Lightsaber tree.
 
Jedi should be able to earn 4000 (or convert) without spending months hacking away at creatures.  This is the revamp, and having to earn the equivalent of 64 million Jedi XP just to use our Lightsaber somewhat decently just isn't fun.  I believe one of the main focii of the revamp is to make this profession more fun to play, and lowering the XP needed for the lightsaber tree will do just that.
 
This can also be addressed by increasing the weight of the Initiate boxes in the current system based on actual "effort" instead of just XP. 
 

 
11. Force Cost on Sabers has been doubled. 
 
 Even with all -9 crystals/pearls the best result is double the cost of current sabers.  Please re-examine the force costs and lower them.  It costs far too much force just to be able to use a simple special.

I can't possibly express how much I agree with number 6. My name is synonymous with my weapons making business. It's like the name Nike or Bill Gates. I worked hard for that long ago and I do want to be a jedi but I don't want to do the blasted FS quest twice, and the only professions I have left to grind would mean I'd have to give up Master Weaponsmith and I'm too proud of being the oldest Master remaining on our server (first guy quit). I just want a choice between which of my chars gets to be Force Sensitive at the very least.

Yay much nicer then the other punch list. Thanks for bringing up the point about initiate boxes being hard to attain, even though they are less xp. I hope the devs do read and listen to these requests, they are fair a just. Many profs think we want to be gods, but us jedi know that isn't true we just want a reward for our time spent achieving the title jedi, and to have that title be backed up with some power, so we aren't just a token prof. The new skill points cost for boxes suggested is also a much better system then simply inverting them, this will give us more boxes yet keep us from getting many low level boxes in different trees. Thanks Arjun. Oh I would like to mention this and I haven't been on test lately so I don't know if it is true but someone stated that force experimentation now says it increases the chance of having an amazing success instead of actually giving more experimentation points. Could we get some clarification there I know a dev previously said at fan fest it was to add experiment points, wonder if it was changed? Once again good job on the punchlist I hope devs take it to heart, seems like they are reading the boards atleast with threads being locked and all.

I couldn't agree with that more.
 
ArjunThakur, I understand you are the Jedi Correspondent, but just because the Devs are going out of their way to help Jedi's dosen't mean that gives you the right as a player to request something. Sure we pay monthly subscriptions, but you don't see the other professions demanding things from the dev team. It's not fair to the team, especially when they're spending so much of their time toward improving the profession. And as a player, I do not agree that it is our right as players to demand these things. We should be able to request things, but not demand. If we were able to demand things I'd be demanding daily how I wish Bounty Hunters would be revamped. Be glad you're getting revamped now, even though you're probably less than 1% of the population.

Yes thing about Initiate boxes is right, as i sayd before its realy harder then after Aprentice. Requires more time, we have to be scared of Poisoned and Deseased stuff, also no Flurry (AOE) attack's makes it much more slower. Flurry damage output even with 3-rd gen saber 5000k with 5-th gen 9000+, so you can destroy lair with few strikes taking all creatures arround (also saber decay here AOE increase exp and descreases Decay rate/exp gain).

Ah, you're a BH, we don't care what you think LOL, just kidding.
 
Part of the fun of Jedi is watching over your shoulder for that BH that just might have a bullet with your name on it (for those of us who know how to stay logged on anyway, heh).  I understand why the Dev's are hitting up Jedi before anything else and it saddens me that so many non-Jedi seem to see it as 'preferential'.
 
Don't forget, all of us Jedi have main toons that are not Jedi.  We'd love to see all our other professions fixed too   And once Jedi is revamped and BH is squared away ... here's to hoping for some titanic battles that we can take as good memories from this game when the time comes to move on.
 
Edit: Note that my main toon is a Rifleman.  I'm really looking forward to the changes coming for us, even though I know it represents quite a nerf from what they are now.  But it'll be good for the game overall so I'll gladly take the hit and make the most of whatever Rifleman becomes.  I just love using rifles

You didnt read forums as i see. This requests based on player's feedback. So read threads something like "Congratulations, Bugs, Issues, exploits".
I am not trying to offend someone but, this requests not from Arjun only, its from all comunity.

I still think that master healer should get bonus to the lesser healing powers, making them more effective and lower or remove delay.

good list.
 
add this to your list too:
let the robes have different colors...
its like stormtroopers out there, except in robes.
its also like wearing a school uniform to private school.
 
but, i'd much rather have a system where:
the robe still gives you the bonus if unequipped and sitting in your inventory.  (see: diablo 2 charms)
you can wear it if you want.
this way ppl can wear better looking alternatives to clothing and still get the robe bonus.
this isn't episode I and II jedi folks.  the neo jedi in this era didnt walk around in robes.  (see: mara jade/luke skywalker/kyle katarn/etc...)
 
here's a longshot...
get rid of the force powers and healing professions and integrate them into one profession...
they are mostly useless to waste Skill points on...and i do not forsee many masters of those profs.

i would like to know what happen to placed structures of jedi when main and jedi have used their 20 lots to  be prepared when the change to 10 lots per server comes
