Ok, someone asked that I do a write up on this, so here we go...
I get many tells about krayt tissue, acklay bones, and looted NYM enhancers. Everyone wants to know, "What will this make?" So, here is a short write up on the more common enhancers and how to tell what it should look like when the product is finished...

To find out how your tissue will affect your gun, go to a weaponsmith's shop you would like to hire and look on his/her vendor. If the weapons are sliced, find one speed sliced and one damage sliced. After you have the unsliced values of the stats you want to enhance, add the damage of the tissue to the MAX damage and subtract the speed from the weapon speed. You now have a pretty close idea of how it will turn out. This method has a +/- 1 variation in damage stats (either it will be +1 stronger or weaker if not exactly what you got after adding the dmg) and a +/- .1 speed variation.

To find out how your HPEC will affect your gun, go to a weaponsmith's shop you would like to hire and look on his/her vendor. If the weapons are sliced, find a speed sliced gun. After you have the unsliced values of the damage stats, add the damage of the HPEC to the MAX damage. You now have a pretty close idea of how it will turn out. This method has a +/- 1 variation in damage stats.

To find out how the NYM Motor will affect your weapon, goto a weaponsmith's shop you would like to hire and look on his/her vendor. If the weapons are sliced, find a speed sliced weapon. After you have the unsliced values of the damage stats, add the damage of the NYM Motor to the MAX damage. You now have a pretty close idea of how it will turn out. This method has a +/- 1 variation in damage stats.<\font>

To find out how your Feeder will affect your gun, go to a weaponsmith's shop you would like to hire and look on his/her vendor. If the weapons are sliced, find a speed sliced gun. After you have the unsliced values of the damage stats, add the damage of the Feeder to the MAX damage. You know have a pretty close idea of how it will turn out. This method has a +/- 1 variation in damage stats.
Loot: Spider Fang Enhancers: MaxDmg, Speed, HAM cost (broken) What it enhances: Rocket Launcher, FWG5 Pistol, Featherweight FWG5, Launcher Pistol, Striker Pistol, Tangle Pistol, Berserker Rifle, Spraystick, Tusken Rifle
To find out how your Spider Fang will affect your gun, go to a weaponsmith's shop you would like to hire and look on his/her vendor. If the weapons are sliced, find one speed sliced and one damage sliced. After you have the unsliced values of the stats you want to enhance, add the damage of the Spider Fang to the MAX damage and subtract the speed from the weapon speed. You now have a pretty close idea of how it will turn out. This method has a +/- 1 variation in damage stats and a +/- .1 speed variation. The HAM modifier is broken since Feed Mechs do not have a line for HAM costs.
Loot: Gorax Shards Enhancers: MaxDmg, Speed What it enhances: Rocket Launcher, FWG5 Pistol, Featherweight FWG5, Launcher Pistol, Striker Pistol, Tangle Pistol, Berserker Rifle, Spraystick, Tusken Rifle
To find out how your Gorax will affect your gun, go to a weaponsmith's shop you would like to hire and look on his/her vendor. If the weapons are sliced, find one speed sliced and one damage sliced. After you have the unsliced values of the stats you want to enhance, add the damage of the Gorax to the MAX damage and subtract the speed from the weapon speed. You now have a pretty close idea of how it will turn out. This method has a +/- 1 variation in damage stats and a +/- .1 speed variation.
Loot: Acklay Bone Enhancers: Takes the place of a Reinforced Core What it enhances: Gaderiffi Baton, Power Hammer, Stun Baton, Two handed Axe
To find out the final stats of your Acklay weapon is a bit trickier. The best RC right now is 41min/41max. So, go to your weaponsmith's shop, find an unsliced or speed sliced weapon you want this in and subtract 41 from the min and 41 from the max. Now add the full values of your Acklay Bone. This method has a variation of +/- 7 on power hammers, and +/- 2 on the other weapons, depending on the resources that weaponsmith is using.
Loot: Night Sister Vibro Unit Enhancers: MinDmg, MaxDmg, Speed, Range Mods, HAM costs What it enhances: (Required)Energy Lance, Lance, Long Vibro Axe, Vibro Axe, Vibro Blade, Vibro Knucklers, Vibro Lance
To find out how the NSVBU will affect your weapon, goto a weaponsmith's shop you would like to hire and look on his/her vendor. If the weapons are sliced, find a speed sliced weapon. After you have the unsliced values of the damage stats, add the damage of the NSVBU to the MAX damage. You now have a pretty close idea of how it will turn out. This method has a +/- 1 variation in damage stats. **Note** Due to my relative inexperience in assembling Energy Lances, I do not have the base stats written down yet to give you an approximate damage range. However, there are many other Weaponsmiths out there who assembled them and may have this knowledge.<\font>
Special Weapon: Scythe Required and Optional Loot: Geonosian Power Cubes and Geonosian Solidifying Agent Geonosian Sword Core Base Damage Stats: 35min 35max
To determine how your Scythe will turn out with your cubes and paste, add the values to the base GSC stats above. Then, add those stats to 150min and 280max. This will show you what your final Scythe should look like. For example, base yellow cubes are 10/10. Base agent is +10 max. This totals 10/20. Added up, the GSC will be 44/54 and the Scythe will be 194min 334max. These stats can vary by 2 or 3 points based on the Weaponsmith's resources.
This is just light weight stuff here. If you really want to get into how everything works, I suggest you start here on the Weaponsmith boards. The page linked is a comprehensive look at loot, compoenets, and rare items used in making weapons, as well as some weapons themsleves. I hope this helps. Also, remember, anything requiring multiple of something requires one extra piece of loot to be able to make a schematic. So, if you want a Krayt Jawa, which uses 5 Blaster Power Handlers, you need at least 6 krayt dragon tissues.
