I continue to rotate advanced weaponry into stock and move old stock to the bargain vendor. I'll probably be putting up a bargain vendor in Coronet for the immediate future, as hauling all of the old stock there back to Tatooine would be most annoying. =) Anywho, I added advanced launchers and scatters, and will be putting advanced E11 rifles into stock tonight. The next run of low-end grenades is right around the corner, the componens are running through the factory now. Thermal detonators and proton grenades are a bit farther off... especially the protons. Don't expect to see these before late next week. But I'll need to do some anyway now that I'm out of rocket launchers. A note about Imperial detonators: at last report, these were still badly bugged (20+ second firing delay). So don't expect to see these until this bug is addressed.
My next runs will probably be LLCs (which I've been out of for far too long), DX2s, DXR6s and advanced laser rifles. Gotta get those staple weapons back into stock, so keep checking back. This will likely be a busy weekend for me.
As always, I'm on the lookout for any krayt dragon tissue, kliknik glands, high speed feed mechanisms, or any number of other items that can be used as weapon component enhancers (NOT simply weapon components such as rifle or pistol barrels, those are useless to me). If you think you have one of these items, drop me an e-mail and we'll negotiate a price.
FelKel LTD Weaponsmiths Stock List, 16 October 2003
PISTOLS
Scout Blaster (Marksman: Pistols II) -- Coronet only
60-122 Damage; 1.7 Speed; 11-22-11 HAM; AP: None; Energy Damage
Advanced Scout Blaster (Marksman: Pistols II)
74-145 Damage; 2.0 Speed; 11-22-11 HAM; AP: None; Energy Damage
Advanced Power5 Pistol (Marksman: Pistols III)
59-182 Damage; 2.8 Speed; 16-39-15 HAM; AP: None; Energy Damage
NOTE: While you do not earn the certification for VKs until Teras Kasi Novice, they will help you work up the unarmed tree quickly. The standard unarmed attack delay is 4.0. Wearing VKs will lower that to the delay of the weapon. So while you might hit for slightly less, you will hit nearly twice as fast.
Advanced Power Hammer (Swordsman: Novice Swordsman)
I now have over 300 items in stock on my main vendors. If you can't find what you're looking for, please be sure to hit "Next Items" in the lower right to view the entire listing.
As always, there is a "Bargain Bin" vendor in my Mos Eisley shop where you'll find older models and factory prototypes. If you need waypoints, the co-ords are below, or check your planetary map under Vendors/Weapons for "-IO- FelKel LTD Weaponsmiths".

Are the current melee weapons the best we will ever see?
If not what do you need to make them better.
I am not complaining about the current stock they are great, more a what should we melee folks be on the look out for to help you make even better melee weapons if possible.
I can tell you right now that you won't find two-handed curved swords better on any server. The stuff that I (and I'm sure Jei and others) used to turn these out was some 999 SR duralloy steel, and I've never heard a master on any other server claim better. They can get 246 max damage and 2.6 speed, but not that 250/2.5 like we've gotten here on Tempest. I remember distinctly that when I experimented on these, I got 99%.
I know that the power hammers can get slightly better, but I haven't messed with them in quite some time.
Some of the melee weapons -- anything with "vibro" in the title -- I can improve with advanced vibro units, and will be doing so once I get my current stock of firearms up-to-date.
The quickest thing to look for to make good melee weapons is SR (shock resistance). This is about the only quality that most melee schematics take into account when you're choosing materials. Mostly iron and steel, but also polymer.

Jabberwocky, I know FelKel used to stock LLC's and he said something about restocking them soon in his post. I can't remember the stats offhand. One thing I do know is that I bought a FelKel LLC and I don't touch any other since.
This is not a krayt? Did they increase the damage of scatters? These look like the old pre-nerf scatters Jei used to make make in like september. All the other scatter I've seen people making recently have a max of around 155, 182 is awsome.
Good Lord, who would necropost a seven month old stock list?
Armand, those are pre-nerf scatters (note the date on the stock list). As such, they can't be made like that anymore.

To answer this question, the answer is: you don't. The only way to know the attack speed of a weapon using a certain resource is to plug it in and see what you get. A lot of weaponsmithing is trial and error to find what works best.

"Advanced" is my parlance for "this weapon was made entirely with advanced components". I suppose I should add a FAQ entry about that on my web site.

Hmmm
I wonder how many times this could be necroposted before someone gets caught....
