Uh...I just wanted to say that the Rebel Theme Park missoin listed above is broken. After completing Leia's missions you are sent to Lok to do missions for Han Solo (actually for his little lackey first). That's all well and good, but after completing Han's misions you are sent to find Lt. Lance on Dantooine to help him and Admiral Ackbar. Well...SURPRISE!! there is no Lt. Lance on Dantooine and Woohoo!! no Ackbar either... If I'm wrong, I'd love to have their locations.
Quest: Badge of ?? (Altruism ? A greater bladder :-)
Cool Factor: Small (frustrating)
Difficulty: Medium (solo, no pets), Easy (with one pet, one droid)
Faction Requirements: None
Location (not exact): for me : 50 m from Lars Homestead on Tatooine
Reward: Badge ?
Bugginess: very
4 ranchers and a farm master have put 4 pirates and their captain in a containment grid and are watching over them. ( I heard the REAL badge quest has the pirates guarding the ranchers and by defeating the pirates and destroying the grid you free the ranchers).
Talk to the farm master. He tells you to check on his guards. You ask each in turn ... one asks you to stand in for him as he has to pee. SAY YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because if you say NO the encounter is buggy. He goes to pee anyway. The farm master thanks you and sends you away whatever you say. No pirates try to escape. Not even after you shot the ranchers (Sorry, i HAD to try to get a response !).
Let me know what happens if you replace the guard for a while. I THINK the pirates will try to escape, you will fight them, defeat them and the ranchers are grateful ... hopefully. Otherwise the mission is REALLY bugged.
Novarider Tam (Naritus)
Actually, this is the badge of Honor, not Altruism, and it is currently bugged on every server. There is supposed to be a 4th wall that spawns. When you tell the guard to take his break, the pirates are supposed to set off an explosion. But no explsopn happens since there is no 4th wall to explode.
Altruism does have ranchers and pirates, but in that one, you kill the pirates before talking to anyone. The location of that one is north of Mos Eisley. This one, Honor, I believe you found somewhere between Bestine and Wayfar. The pirates are white and unattackable.
In the Tyrena Cantina, there is a guy named Crev who works for Shalera the Hutt, who is in the back of the cantina. Its been fun so far, I'm still on Crev, so I can't say how buggy it is. No prereqs, not very difficult. Its pretty cool. You can also take screenshots next to a big pink and purple lady Hutt, if that floats your boat.
There is also an "Excited Journalist" outside the cantina who I haven't started on yet.
CrazyRedd, I believe the Excited Journalist is just a herald for an Imperial base. I'm about 90% sure, though I could be wrong.
BTW, this thread is GREAT. Thanks for all the contributors.
You know, there are regularly people posting who say "I can't find any content and I'm getting bored." I can sympathize, somewhat, and I say, send 'em to this thread. If nothing else, you can help us out by going out and finding missions we can all benefit from.
You know, request to devs, if you happen to read this thread.
I like there being heralds, but can you make it so there is a distinction between a herald and a mission-giver? I am sometimes reluctant to talk to NPCs, knowing that I'm obligated to help somebody out if I say I will, and if they're just giving me a location without really expecting me to actually help them...well, it's counter-intuitive.
Short form:
Heralds should say, clearly: "Here is something interesting. I don't expect you to do anything for me once you get to this waypoint. I am not giving you a reward. You will not lose or gain faction based on what you do here. Just go check it out. It is teh r0xx0r."
Mission-givers should say, clearly: "I want you to do something for me. Go to this waypoint, do it, and then come back, and you will be rewarded. If you do not, you will never become force-sensitive and I may sleep with your wife."

Thank you.
