HEY fellow Kettemorians (?). I am planning on posting this on the Carbineer forums and the Game Guide forums but decided to throw it on here first to help out my fellow Carbinier's on Kettemoor. This is a guide to get

Some people may get pissed at me for postin this but I had a really really hard time finding out what the hell to do in order to get this **edit** nice Carbine. I am posting this for people who like me were un-able to find the three different locations (spread VERY far apart) to find the different quest items. If you want to find these for yourself, just hit the back button.

Before I start - a quick thank you to RAragon for the exact locations of these, I located two of them without but needed his guide for the gas mine. I made this guide after searching for the computer hard-drive in the Research lab for tooo long =). Thanks bud.

Eh, one more thing before I start. I have -5000 Nym faction, it is VERY simple to do this quest especially by just following these instructions..so let us begin..

NOTE: Before you grab the items from the containers, I ADVISE you double click the container instead of using the radial menu and opening it. This is how I did it - and got two of each item, allowing me to get TWO of the carbines in the end.

 1. FIRST - Head to these locations and pick up the items.

Droid Cave: -3027 -681. Here, you must get to the end of the cave, talk with the Hacker, and awnser the questions they ask (Orange, 720, and Sir). The gate will come up and you can get in there, double click the droid and you have the droid part you need.

Research Lab: 902 -4193: Here you need to get a computer hard drive and an Imperial gernade. The harddrive is in on a Computer system in the maze type room (walk into the first large room w/ the scientists and take a left, it'll be nice to know it's in this room as opposed to runnin through teh whole place tons of times). The gernades are in a storage compartment in a smaller room connected to two hallways. An aggro is the room and should aggro you once you open it, but he is a one hit kill =)

Gas Mine: 6467 3885: At the bottom you'll find an air filteration unit..double clicky and get the gas item.

2. SECOND PART - the easy part is over, here is the easier part. Head to Nym's Stronghold. In the back you will find Nym's palace..house..whatever. It should be easy to find Nym. Give "Jenkins" your Droid's Memory Chip. Give your Gas to Kole. And the Imperial Gernade + harddrive to go Nym. After you give Nym those two, walla. You have your Nym's Slug-thrower Carbine. Have fun.

YES Bamboo, you Jedi's CAN use the weapons seeing as how it has NO cert, just like a Republic Blaster. Thanks for the post.

4.0 Speed, 36/62/32 HAM, 103-217 dmg, 16% wound, -10 @ 0, +0 @ 28, - 60 at 64.

Not bad for a completely free, no cert weapon.

It's also acid damage and sounds like a real gun (as opposed to a blaster).  Looks pretty cool too, I guess.  Oh yeah, and light AP.
