I was a little bored so i decided to do the calculation of how many nades are needed per branch and the cost. Cost is based deferently on every server.
1 Crate = 25 set of grenades 5 hits per 1 set of grenade
8 sets of granades per lair 2.5 lairs per XP cap 4 Caps per buff cycle
1225,000 XP per branch
Math:
20 Grenade sets per XP cap cycle = 100k FS XP 80 Grenade sets per Buff Cycle = 400k FS xp = 3.5h 240 Grenade sets per Branch = 1.2mil FS xp = 10.5h
240 Granade sets = 9.6 Crates
1 crate of grenade costs (tarquinas server) about 75k Lets say you need an even 10 crates 750K = x6 for all branches = 4.5mil
i have found my self doing nothing but money grinding on Dant doing pikets lairs in improved job market. i am 4000 commando, but my thermals are only 1800 max damage. true i got them for 30k a crete, but i have to get them sliced at 50k a crete. plus buying pups at 3k per box. total about 80k per crete. so to save money, (not so much time) i do rifles in one buff cycle to reach 900k, and TK the same. total 120k FS. 30k per profession, and 60 of combat for both combined. so far i am at 1.8 mil credits. from starting on sunday that's not too bad playing 3 hrs at a time. i'll keep this up for about another week and a half. by then i should have about 4-5mil..average about 600k credits a day. but after that week and a half. i should have another 2 FS trees knocked out. so far(since August) i am combat prowess (4401) and ehances reflexes (0300) so we'll after all that money grinding, maybe (hopefully) i shold only have to do one or two FS trees with the grenade grind. i already have about 7 crete unsliced, so i'll spend some one slicing them, and hopefully i wont have to buy more. thanks for reading my story to all

Give resources to a Weaponsmith, they give you schems, you make subcomponents in an Equipment factory, you give those to Weaponsmith again, get final grenade schem, crank out grenades in your factory.
Have 2 factories, or for the most efficient means of cranking them out, 3 factories - use 1 to build the first subcomponent. When it's done with the 1000, put them into the input hopper. Start the other 2 at the same time. As they finish subcomponents, put them into the input hopper of the first factory. The first factory will be cranking out TONS of grenades before you know it.
The actual cost of resources for 1000 grenades is a LOT less than buying them retail.
They are kind of annoying to make in serious quantities, which is why WS's charge quite a bit for them. That, and the fact that FS grinders are willing to pay a lot just to get a few crates.
Anyways, trust me. Spend some cash on a couple of harvesters, BER10's are the most efficient cost-wise (but BER13's dig up more/hold more), and pull up the resources yourself. You'll save millions of credits.
Only buy grenades retail when you've got to finish up a buff session and you just need an extra couple of crates. Otherwise you're spending way too much on grenades.
