Great update and much appreciation here for everything we hav been given so far but sad to see so much talent leaving the project too. I'm sure we will have more people step up to the plate though, I'm not worried as this has happened in the past over and over. I just have a general question though, why did so many Devs leave? Are they proving their chops here and then getting hired away? If that is the case then I guess I can't blame them since this is a volunteer project.

to hopefully clarify for you

the SWGEMU developers and this current project are trying to make the game as close to 14.1 as possible with some minor bug fixes.

once that is accomplished the code will be released and different people or groups of people can host their own servers.
there will be some sort of options built into the code that will allow these differnt servers to change certain things. such as village/hologrind, minisuits, etc

HOWEVER what these servers do is not the concearn of the SWGEMU team as the teams goal is to get us to as close to 14.1 as possible.
whatever happens afterwards is totally up the the server admins of the individual servers.
