We all know the risks associated with a project in the Alpha phase of development (or at least we should). If the Answer manages to find your stuff while still trying to move the project forward, hallelujah. If not, move on and don't look back.
If these don't suffice, cancel your sub and ask for a refund.

That had nothing do the risk/reward. The point was its so easy to say just wipe it when you only just started and nothing invested. I already chalked everything up as a loss so it doesn't matter to me anymore.

I'm still hopeful that someone in the development team will shed a little light on where we are with item return. I understand that there are developmental priorities and this may not be one of them. But even a "Your items are wiped. Nothing will be returned." is a lot better than no word at all.

So if anyone in the know has a couple of minutes to spare, it would be greatly appreciated if you could just give us some idea.

Good to see this information at last. Will this require that the merchants involved need to have open slots for vendors, I know I have replaced some vendors and if we get all the "missing vendors" back I will be well over my limit of 12 at that point.

No i dont believe so, i think that the items from vendors will be distributed in some sort of packs or containers.
