Karask and Sarynn's mini guide to Dathomir.
Want to know about the home of many Dark Jedi Knights, Dark Jedi Masters,
Force Sensitive Night Sisters and their foes, the Singing Mountain Clan?
You're in the right place.
What you're about to read isn't 'the' definitive guide to Dathomir, it's
basically a small list of locations, hints and tips to avoid death that both
Sarynn and me have found on our seven day exploration of the planet. If we find
anything else, we'll let you know.
You'll also find that there are many small camps and locations that are not
listed because they're not static. We thought they were until one decided to
land itself literally on the doorstep of our house. It's definitely worth
exploring yourself when you get a chance.

- Imperial camps and patrols The usual troopers, sergeants, medics etc.
- Rebel Patrols, again the usual troopers, marines etc.
- You'll no doubt also bump into the odd weak thug group here and there
Don't forget if you're a Rebel and you run into some trouble, head to a patrol
if there's one close by. They'll most likely prolong your life slightly by
running at your enemy. Same goes for Imperials. Just don't feel guilty if they
all die, because a human shield is a human shield after all.
::Quick Tip for staying alive::
Here's a good one that seems to save us every time we get surrounded by agro's,
and that's to know how close you can go to each creature before they attack. Now
without knowing the exact differences, if you're surrounded at any time remember
you can go far closer to all types of Reptilian Fliers than you can night sisters, or
mountain clan mobs. That includes slaves (The tough ones rather than the weak
ones that die in a single 800 damage shot). Choose your path wisely, and don't
forget to clone =)
::Locations of Dathomir::
Here comes the fun part. We've stumbled upon absolutely loads of locations, most
of them not static, which is why the following list isn't the biggest ever made.
Look out for those green dots on your Ctrl + M map too. There's something very
Blair Witchy about those bone posts. If you enjoy exploring and finding things
for yourself, look away now.
- Imperial Prison (complete with AT-ST's and Dark Troopers) -6151 +0973
- Science Outpost -0084 -1600
- Trade Outpost +0318 +2721
- Singing Mountain Clan Dungeon +0158 +4524
- Night Sister Dungeon -3991 -0057
- Night Sister vs Mountain Clan battlefield -2599 +1530
- Downed Ship +5585 +1903
- PvP battlefield +3919 -4370
- Mountain Clan Deserted Village #1 +0561 +4241
- Masses of Mountain Clan and Night Sister camps, North of Mountain Clan Dungeon
- Our House -0747 -1372
- Small force protected monument -5019 +3207
::A few other things to be aware of when on Dathomir::
Aligning with the sisters - I haven't worked this one out yet. There's been
loads of stories and people saying they know how, but getting +5000 fp and
-5000fp for either the NightSisters or Mountain Clan doesn't do anything apart
from turn their sentinels white (everything else still agro's). Helping them out
on the battlefield didn't do anything, and it didn't matter if I was a Rebel or
Imperial, so if anyone figures it out, drop me a line because I'm going nuts.
I still say there has to be an NPC somewhere to talk to. Make of it what you will.
There's also the case of the Singing Mountain Clan dungeon (I assume that's what
it is) the location of which I've given above. Try to get in the entrance, it
chucks you right out again. Unfinished or protected by the force? You decide.
I'll update when I work it out (or someone beats me to it).
Lastly, we checked for islands in the seas to the north. I've never done so much
swimming in my life, unfortunately it turned up nothing.
:: A Final Note::
Well that's it. Not the biggest guide ever created, but it's work time for me.
I will update it as much as I possibly can after a much needed short break in
Dearic. I very much doubt that's everything so if anyone has anything to add,
feel free to do so, but be careful of those static looking camps. Many of them
stay for a long time, but aren't there forever.
Look out for an update soon looking detailing all the animals, places, loot
tactics tips and more locations.
Hope this helped someone somewhere have some fun ;)
Take Care, and Enjoy
Good Hunting.
