  • A Simple Way to Double Click Your Resources

for those who use a macro to help them craft faster, i have found a way to
do your double clicking of resources.

first you need a mouse like a microsoft explorer or one that has 5 buttons
like mine. mine has two side thumb buttons, one by deafult set's me to auto
run the other is blank. my mouse has a program that lets me set how my mouse
clicks for each button so i set the blank button to do a double clcik, this
works great. i hit the button once and it puts the selected resources in to
    the slot.

so for a complex items say one with 6 resources, instead of clicking 12
times i click 6 and save my finger and the mouse some where and tear.

    craft fast and enjoy ppl.

I'm using AutoRecorder and have SWG in boarderless window mode. Was able to crank out 24k in WS exp an hour while I slept/work using multiple tool kits. I do advise you go to a less populated planet like Rori and you'll be able to craft as fast as a Quaker can jump n spin kill ya.
AutoRecorder will double click on SWG screen without any manipulation. Demo version works 30 days so you can test it out. Though I do recommend buy'n this as I have to drop WS due to Holo but will be able to grind back into it easily or any other crafting profession Holo may tell me to do.

Ok... I tried three different third party macro programs all with the same result.  I was able to get all of them to place the mouse cursor at the right coordinates, however SWG does not see the double clicks. The OS does indeed see those double clicks however. (Placed a folder at one of the coords and the macro opened it fine)

I am using a Logitech mouse that does has some issues with SWG. I assigned the double-click to the right mouse button via the Logitech mouseware software, however SWG again ignored the double clicking. I had to download the "advanced" config mouse util from Logitech that "forces" SWG to talk to the windows mouse driver. Worked beautifully. However, SWG still doesnt see the double click from the macro third party program.

My question is: Can someone confirm that SWG will work with a third party macro program? If so, did they have to do any extra steps? And... what kind of mouse? Thanks much in advance!

There are a bunch of win macros out there (I can't remember their names but they are like WinMacro or Magic Macro i think) That record windows mouse movements and key stroke and play them back. You can make it play a set of stroke 100 times using loops or make it go on for 2 hours then stop.

However This might count as cheating and if you macro whilst unattended then you are completely cheating. It worked with UO i dunno about swg though

I also have worked as a tech support for an independent ISP. Those are not jokes. They happen all the time. I have had customers call in for a walk through to set up their internet connection where I had to walk them through how to right click before starting.
I have also had the cussing out because it was our fault they could not get on the internet by a people whose electricity had been cut off. Since their phone worked they figured their computer had to be working since it had a phone line connected to it.
The best was the customer I had that walked in with a 56K modem and said he wanted to it set up to get on the internet. I told him he needed it in a computer first. He swore since it said on the box " All you need to get on the internet" that he did not need a computer, just the modem.
Until you do front line tech support you have no idea how many stupid people are out there.
So many times I have said, people should have to pass a Computer Users test before being allowed to own a computer.
