I've been working on this for some time now, and I was hoping to get some input to see what people think about it. If you have any ideas for changes or additions, please, PLEASE, do tell me! PS, sorry for the enormous size, but I go into specifics, hehe. This doesn't mean that it can't be modular, since these are just guidelines, so if you decide to use this guide, feel free to be as creative with it as you wish. I set it up in a quest based system so that it would have some sort of structure.
40 is the threshold for apprenticeship. No apprentice over level 40 may be taken on by a master in this system.
In places where a (xxx/yyy) is included, the xxx indicates the light side choice, and the yyy indicates the dark side choice.
Titles are Blue, descriptive text is Turquoise, recommended quest chat is Purple, objectives are Yellow
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Quest I (Level 1-19): Prove that you understand the use of the force (Initiation into apprenticeship)
This quest ensues immediately when a master recruits an apprentice.
Master: "My new apprentice, show to me that you understand the use of the force, so that I may know if you truly have the (spirit/strength) and potential of a (Jedi/Sith)."
If the master the apprentice is attempting to join is planning on training the apprentice in the light side of the force, then the apprentice must show him the use of force throw. If the master is dark side, then the apprentice must show the master force lightning. The master cannot clarify which the apprentice must show. When the apprentice uses the wrong force skill, the master will say,
“This does not impress me, apprentice. Show me something that better demonstrates your (skill/power).”
When the apprentice uses the correct ability, the master will say, “I am duly impressed, apprentice. I will take you under my wing. I shall guide you from afar until you reach a point in your advancement where I feel you are ready to advance to the rank of (/Dark) Padawan.”
If the apprentice that is being taken by the master is already level 20 or over, this quest is unnecessary.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Quest II (Level 20-40): The Padawan Trials
This quest begins as soon as possible upon the apprentice’s reaching level 20.
Master: "Apprentice, the time has come for you to complete the trials necessary to advance to the rank of Padawan. I shall give you a selection of tasks in a random order which you must complete before you will be ready to be my Padawan.”
The task list for this quest is as follows, the first part being for light side, the second being for dark side. When the apprentice has completed all of the tasks for one side, continue to the bottom of this section. Random, except Trials X and XI must always be the last.

Upon completion of all 11 tasks for their master, the apprentice must meditate at a force shrine on their (inner peace/hatred) for a time designated by the master and then return to him. The master will then take the apprentice to (The Jedi Temple on Dantooine/The Shore of Remorse on Mustafar or The Exar Kun Temple on Yavin IV), and have them kneel. Light Side says: “Apprentice, the time has come for you to ascend to my side as my Padawan. You must now recite before me the code of the Jedi Order. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force.” Upon reciting the Jedi Code, the master has the apprentice rise, and declares, “(name), you are now a Padawan of the Jedi Order. May you strengthen yourself for your entire life in the name of the Light.” Dark Side says: “Apprentice, the time has come for you to take hold of your potential and increase your powers tenfold. You will now ascend to my side as my Padawan. Recite before me now the code of the Sith. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion I gain strength. Through strength I gain power. Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken. The force shall free me.” Upon reciting the Sith code, the master has the apprentice rise and declares, “(name), you are now a Padawan of the Sith Brotherhood. May you acquire great power to control others and defeat those who stand in your way.”
This quest must be completed by all apprentices to advance

Robe & Lightsaber Quests
Quest III: The Robe of the Acolyte (Level 40-59)
The master must bring the Padawan to the Warren, but not beyond the first room. The master and Padawan must kill the imperial scientists located there until one drops an Acolyte Robe of the APPROPRIATE COLOR for their side of the force. Do not take a robe of the wrong color. This quest is complete when the Padawan receives his robe.
Quest IV: Improve your Lightsaber (Level 54-69)
The master must aid the Padawan in constructing his Second Generation Lightsaber. If the Padawan does not have two already, the master should provide him with crystals. Master should also recommend that the Padawan changes the saber design from the first he used.
Quest V: The Robe of the Apprentice (Level 60-79)
The master must now take the Padawan either to Dantooine to fight force-sensitive renegades, or to any city where they can engage level 70+ NPCs from the opposing faction. They must slay these enemies until the Padawan received an Apprentice Robe of the appropriate color.
Quest VI: Improve your Lightsaber (Level 70-77)
The master must aid the Padawan in constructing his Third Generation Lightsaber. If the Padawan does not have three already, the master should provide him with crystals. Master should also recommend that the Padawan changes the saber design from the first two he used.
Quest VII: Improve your Lightsaber (Level 78-84)
The master must aid the Padawan in constructing his Fourth Generation Lightsaber. If the Padawan does not have four already, the master should provide him with crystals. Master should also recommend that the Padawan changes the saber design from the first three he used.
Quest VIII: The Robe of the Knight (Level 80-84)
The master must now bring the Padawan to the Death Watch Bunker or the Nightsister Stronghold on Dathomir, and slay Nightsisters or Black Sun until the Padawan receives a Knight Robe of the appropriate color.

Level 40-84 Transition Quests
Quest IX: The Hunting Grounds (Level 45-84)
The master says to the Padawan, “(name), I believe you are ready to attempt the arduous and dangerous hunting trials of the Etyyy on Kashyyyk. Speak with a Rodian named Kerssoc at a camp near the entrance to the grounds to gain access. From there, continue the trials until you have defeated the Webweaver, Silkthrower. Return to me when you have done all of this.”
The padawan must then travel to Etyyy and complete all the hunting trials and earn the badge for them.
Upon return to the master, the master says to the padawan, “You have done well my padawan. Continue with your training, and I shall have another task for you soon.”
Quest X: Call of the Past: Clone Armor (Level 50-84)
The master says to the Padawan, “My Padawan, a man named Mort Morkov is seeking (peace with/revenge against) the demons of his past. You must travel to the cantina in Dearic on Talus, and speak with him to help (ease/fuel) his (pain/anger).”
The padawan must then complete the entirety of the Mort Morkov quest chain, and return to the master.
The master says, “Show me the relic you have received from the Soldier.” The Padawan shows the master the relic, and the quest is completed.
Quest XI: Call of the Past: The Vengeful Demon (Level 60-84, do not give if Padawan is lower than Tier 2)
The master says to the Padawan, “The clone Boba Fett at Jabba the Hutt’s Palace on Tatooine is seeking an outside party to assist him in eluding a pursuer. If you are a sufficiently skilled pilot, you should probably heed his offer. I am sure the reward will be worth the effort from a person as affluent and infamous as Fett.”
The padawan must then complete the entirety of the Boba Fett Clone Relic quest and return to the master.
The master says, “Show me the relics you have received from Fett.” The padawan shows the master the relics, and the quest is completed.
Quest XII: Call of the Past: The Hunter (Level 60-84)
The master says to the padawan, “A Rodian hunter named Qakkee has been sitting around the Bestine cantina for the past few weeks bragging about his mighty hunting skills. I think it would be a good step for your advancement to show him otherwise.”
The Padawan must then complete the Great Hunter Clone Relic quest chain and return to the master.
The master says, “Show me the relics you have received from the hunter.” The padawan shows the master the relics, and the quest is completed.
Quest XIII: The Warren (Level 65-84)
The master says to the Padawan, “Padawan, I have felt a great disturbance in the force. An Imperial facility on Dantooine, which I can only identify as ‘The Warren’, has been consumed by the chaos of its own machinations. A massive outcry of death can be felt across the vast expanses of space… Can you not feel it yourself? I wish for you to travel there with me so that we may cleanse the facility of whatever has taken hold of it.”
The master and padawan then travel together to The Warren and complete it, with the master doing his best to let the padawan figure the puzzle of the facility out on his own, giving only subtle hints. When the quest has been completed in Theed Palace…
The master says to the Padawan, “(name), you have done very well this day. Many people on Dantooine can live in peace now that the threat of those fearsome beasts and that madman has been quelled.”
Quest XIV: Call of the Past: False Imprisonment (Level 65-84)
Master says to Padawan, “Padawan, one of my contacts has reported to me that a Geonosian has been wrongly imprisoned somewhere in Kachirho on Kashyyyk. I would like for you to travel there and try to find a way to secure his release.”
Padawan must now go to Kachirho and complete the Imprisoned Geonosian quest arc. The master may accompany him into the Geonosian Lab if necessary. Upon completion, the Padawan shows the Bolotaur pet to the Master and the quest is completed.
Quest XV: The Mustafarian Crusade (Level 75-84)
Master says to Padawan, “A number of mysterious and very secret plots have arisen upon the planet Mustafar. I sense that many people are in need of our aid, and perhaps we will uncover some answers of our own in the process. Much Jedi history has been left upon that fiery planet.”
Over the next few levels, the Padawan should attempt to complete the following quests, with the master’s aid when necessary.
A Whole Pack of Trouble An Archeologist's Problem
Miner Madness The Strike
Unlocking the Secrets
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Quest XVI: The Knight Trials
The master picks out the Trial objectives for the padawan. However, all padawans must do all six of the pre-trial tasks. The tasks given a *** are the ones I would personally recommend for the closest achievement of the trial's purpose.
PRE-TRIAL TASKS
Complete one Corvette mission Acquire all 45 exploration badges
Acquire a Holocron of your own alignment (From Jedi Temple on Dantooine or the quest on Mustafar) Defeat the Gaping Maw Spider Kiin’Dray
Defeat an Ancient Krayt Dragon Defeat the Gorax
LIGHT TRIALS
Trial of Skill (Show that you can defeat an entity of the Dark Side in melee combat)
Kill Lord Vartonis (ToOW)
Or
Kill Axkva Min
Or
Kill a Dark Jedi Master on Dantooine (Not Recommended, gives no badge reward
Or
Kill the N-K Necrosis (Complete Myyydril Themepark) ***
Trial of the Flesh (Show that great risk to your life does not discourage you from accomplishing your goals)
Kill an Acklay (Geo Labs)
Or
Kill the Katarn (Complete Rryatt Trials) ***
Or
Kill Sher Kar
Trial of Courage (Show that you are able to conquer all odds and defeat an enemy far stronger than yourself)
Kill Lord Vartonis (ToOW) ***
Or
Kill Sher Kar
Or
Kill Axkva Min
Or
Kill the N-K Necrosis
Or
Kill an Acklay (Geo Labs)
Trial of the Spirit (Show that you are able to look inside of yourself and truly know who you are)
Become Arena Champion of Kerritamba Village (i.e. spare the boss) ***
Or
Witness a staged assassination of the master, and engage the assassin (RP) ***
(Both are good for this, but the assassination is hard to do unless you and your padawan are both dedicated RPers. To succeed, the Padawan must incapacitate the assassin, but spare his life. After this, the master will contact the Padawan and assure him that he is OK.)
Final Task (Level 90)
Return with the master to the place of the padawan ceremony (alternately one can use the Light Jedi Enclave on Yavin IV), where the master endows the padawan with a Knight Cloak. Both Jedi bow to one another, and the master officially declares the padawan a full Jedi Knight. It is optimal for the master to attain the aid of a few other Jedi of the same alignment to make this more of a ceremony.
DARK TRIALS
Trial of Strength (Show that you are strong enough to defeat a mightier enemy)
Kill Lord Vartonis (ToOW)
Or
Kill Axkva Min
Or
Kill the N-K Necrosis (Complete Myyydril Themepark) ***
Trial of Endurance (Show that you can endure any adversity)
Kill an Acklay (Geo Labs)
Or
Kill the Katarn (Complete Rryatt Trials) ***
Or
Kill Sher Kar
Trial of Cruelty (Show that you are cruel enough to betray those with similar goals in hopes of attaining more power)
Kill Lord Vartonis (ToOW) ***
Or
Kill Sher Kar
Or
Kill Axkva Min
Or
Kill the N-K Necrosis
Or
Kill an Acklay (Geo Labs)
Trial of Domination (Also final task, Level 90) (Show that you will attempt to claim dominance of all life, no matter what the cost)
Padawan and Master travel to the place of the Padawan Ceremony (I also like the Dark Jedi Enclave on Yavin IV for this step). The master endows the Padawan with a Knight Cloak, and then engages him in a duel. If the Padawan defeats the master (the master should go easy so that the Padawan will win for sure), the master “becomes one with the force” and /tells the Padawan, “Your training is now complete. Go forth, and train the next generation of Sith so that our brotherhood may live on forever!”
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Quest XVII: The Passing of the Torch (Level 90)
Now that the Padawan has achieved the level of Knight, he too is able to take on an apprentice of his own. This guide is to be passed on from the old master to the new Knight, so that he may use it in training the next generation of Jedi.
