I find it odd that because of Bane's system of Master and Apprentice(supposed to stop interkilling in Sith), caused Palpetine to kill his master and become the next Sith Lord. It also cause Palpetine to only have one apprentice, causing the death of Dooku so that Anakin could be Palpetine's apprentice. I also find it funny that the one move that made the return of the Jedi and weakening of the Sith possible was Darth Vader's return to the light side, causing him to destroy Emporer Palpetine a.k.a Darth Sidious.

One thing, you said Darth Maul was lost forever, when i read that he survived and got a set of cyber legs and tracked obi-wan down in tatooine to kill him, this was between ep 3 and 4. He also had a awsome lightsaber it was a double lightsaber but it had the hilt curved like Dooku's. And this was in a comic book not sure which one though!

The spirit of exar kun probed my mind. He told me the jedi council set me up that I was way to powerful for them to control. That there are secrets. He taught me for years. Until the rebels showed up to make my temple a base. I attacked the rebels. I was hiding in the temple while the rebels were searching for me. Kun told me to help him take over the galaxy. I ignored him and left the jungly planet.

that was an infinities comics, aka a "what if". It is not in the official timeline. Also Ventress is not a Sith, just a dark jedi.
