If your asking about the Stormtrooper Sergeant Shoulder Pad item, it is a rebel only npc mission from Dath by the Northern Outpost, near the singing mountain clan POI. The exact wp of the npc quest giver is 148 4524 I believe. It's the first mission, and you have to kill a Imp commander for the item. Unless you have someone who can get one for ya, leave me a PM and I'll sell one to you if you want.
I did all of tattoine's missions(I think, explored the streets looking for guys for like 2 days, plus did every quest mentioned on this thread), one of the coolest things I found was in bestine, this dude in the medical center gives missions, complete it and you get the A+ Stim Schematic, it uses the same resources as an A stim but its 2xs better, kicker is you only need novice medic to learn it. I also go the Master Hunters Trophy (very cool bol skull). Still working on looking for more quests too do.
As for that new armor, I have already killed 3 NPCs as a part of misisons, all since patch 6, and all them were bounty hunters.
Concerning Lady Valarian's misisons, I too was having trouble, but I found a way around it. I am a TKA master, novice fencer, medic. when I equip my stun baton, I can't get the blue-skinned woman to talk to me at all; no text or menu or anything. Yet when I unequip it, and go unarmed, she does talk to me, but before every mission she says the mission is below my skills. So I took them anyway and it continued to operate as such. apparently if you get mission from terminals at level 11 (as I do as a fencer) you are too weak to work for valarian, while as if you get level 25 misisons (like I do as a master TKA) you are too sting, but still able to work for Valarian. so if you can get level 15 misisons, I would think you could do Valarian's misisons.

I did some quests in Mos Taike just to see the end result, even though i had the feeling some were garbage. Posting this because it will save other people time.

q2- 30 credits and Bantha Steak Soup ||| "Stamina Medpack" is dropped by Kli Sithrin. (mission target) I put it in my backpack and did over the quest so i could keep it.

q4- 30 credits and Eopie Cream Pie
Looks like they total forgot that Mos Taike was in the game.....

These are the quests I have done, Pluse I have compleated Jabbas theme park, The Darklighter (Kyark Dragon Skull), and Am only on the Yavin missions for the Rebel theme park. After that I think I will go Imperial for a while and get the rest of the swag!
Yea. That pirate complex with the captives in it has been there since the beggining of the game. I also had fun doing it and wish there were more quest like it in the game. It would also be nice to see a story line to go with it.
Before Publish 6 I ran some missions that resulted in my aquiring 'Bomaar Sacred Scrolls' which I was supposed to return to the Bomaar Monk Rep. to get the NPC outta trouble with them. Well of course I kept a couple and finished the mission. Of course now for some reason I'm running intot the notstrong enough / won't talk to me problem, so I don't know what changes there are to the quests if any.
The NPC can be found around the middle of Mos Espa with one of those blue dots over his head. Sorry I don't have exact coords., didn't think at the time toe write them down.
For the Lytus Family Artifact, I have two of them and I'm very pleased. They act as very bright lamps and if you place them correctly in your house you can hardly see them. I have mine illuminating one of my walls so it looks pretty awesome. I suggest going for it.

Just an update this Sith Holocron CAN NOT be dropped in your house it can only be placed in your bank or the top level of your inventory, Here is a screen shot of the message you get and also of the Lytus Family "artefact", it lights up my display just fine
