So it is almost true. The devs said something in the past that almost rings true.

They said in the past that we should venture out throughout the galaxie(as in visit all the planets).

Make a home for your self(as in declare a resadence),

Try out the theme parks(as in try one of them and actully finish it).

Try out many professions(as in get holos to point out the professions you need to help unlock the slot).

And join in the GCW(as in join a faction, even if its for a little bit).

This might be the templet to try for, or just part of it.  For me the badges ppl get are just badges to show what you have done, and i think there not part of the FS system. I dont think battle grounds are a part of it to since most crafters dont want to fight, but they can do what i have listed above with out getting into much combat. And there flexible to fit most ppl play styles(well holocrons might be hard for non combat ppl to get, but they can buy them when they become more avalible).

But from what i have read(even if its from only 2 ppl that have gotten the slot open)these are the most commonly shared experiance from the 2. The more info we get in the more we can go on to hopefully open others FS slot.

There is combat for all theme parks, but i think that the devs wanted ppl that dont have combat skills to grp with combat ppl to have fun in the theme parks. But some things in the theme park might give you missions that are required for a non combat profession. I really dont know yet since i still havent gone back to the theme parks for the fear that there still broken and i have been having fun trying to get to master BH.

So I dont know, but as long as a non combat player is in a grp for the theme park, they will be ok.

To make the second saber you can by using a non-sliced saber.  Additionally try using a looted crystal.  A little bird told me....

Monika, I have a suspicion that the first sabre did not work as a component simply because it was sliced.  As I'm typing this though, I'm thinking that the condition of the used sabre could just as easily be the factor, ie, if it's not 100% it may not be acceptable.  I wouldn't think there would be any flag in the game code that indicates whether the weapon was ever used or not.  I'm thinking it would probably be important, to your own benefit to figure this out asap, especially if you will have to keep using the last-tier sabre as a component.  Of course I'd like to know too if just out of curiousity.

One more Q: when you assembled the first sabre, did it give you an assembly success percentage?

Hmm... the plot thickens...

I see my 3 basic and 3 hybrid professions like I expected, but not the 2 elites. Maybe elites and other advanced professions don't count separately.

Also we have one of the three I've seen not checked in on the Theme Park lead...
