I an can understand that from your point of view. But with all the facts i have given, i find this post not hard to believe as a fact and I am not trying to state it as law. I can only tell you what I saw come from a CSR and saw the result. This character unlocked their FS account by mastering 5 of the 6 professions that the CSR told him. Basically you could say this came from SOE.
simply for the sake of knowing how the fscs is unlocked, I hope what you say is true. and I have no intention of calling you a liar. I appreciate you sharing this with the rest of us. my only advice, don't be touchy when people call it a theory, everyone will remember you were the one who proposed it with great certainty if/when it is proven true.

if you quote someone, it's usually a good idea to somehow differentiate your comments from theirs if you write it inside their quote.
I've picked six numbers between 1 and 32. You continue to guess at these numbers until you've guessed 5 of the 6 numbers. When you've guessed 30 times and still have not guessed 5/6, then you know that either number you choose next will be correct. Therefore, this theory can be proven if you someone has to learn 32/33 professions to unlock and no one has to learn 33/33 (or 31/32 picked correctly if you are not factoring in politician and they do not have to learn 32/32)
Note: I am not saying that your claim about the nature of the FSCS slot mechanics are wrong, but merely that your claim that it is a fact is premature. Claiming that it is fact in order to bolster your claim only weakens your position.
You are right - i will accept this as yet another theory - however, with strong evidence to back it up. Let's see how the dice roll from here on out.

bah, ok, on my second point in my post above, you must also assume that I've given you the holo hints (4 of the 6). I figure it's pretty much known if you remember the context of the discussion and my illustrations relation to it, but I need to state that anyways (as there's always a probability that if you're just choosing numbers that the last 2 you need are 2 of the 6)
what about Monika, the first jedi. her story disproves your post. she never unlocked when she trained her last proffesion. she unlocked when she killed a picket.

Theoretically the only way to prove the existence of a 4+1 of 6 theory, would be to open a cron, and master every profession EXCEPT that one. Anyone got some spare time on their hands?

Just because the actual Jedi code wasn't in the game doesn't mean they weren't tracking progress. All they had to do was push the code to the client when someone got close to unlocking it.
Why didn't they push the code earlier? Simply because of all the stuff we learned about from the code, things like skill trees. Obviously, the Devs wanted to keep the code from being on the client until it became possible for somebody to unlock.
Why'd he so famously unlock after killing a Piket rather than after mastering that last profession? Probably because the code for reporting people as FS was a bit buggy and that first kill made his character register as having fulfilled all the requirements with the server.

Another Interesting point the average IQ is 90. So if only 10% of the population is over an IQ of 110 that mean that out of the 30 (guess) people that posted there that 3 maybe 4 people should actually have enough brains to read the entire thread
