I captured a bit of footage from Cantina Crawl XVII and a few other places...slapped it together and put some titles and music on it. So here it is for your enjoyment! (More, bigger, and better videos are ON THEIR WAY as soon as I get some free time on my hands. )
Yea Saftey Dance was the first that I know of. I'm surprised someone still remembers that it was done. I noticed all the links to it don't work but since I'm in it I have a copy of it. Does anyone need this reposted?
It was done on Starsider, in the first few months of the game actually.
Below is the latest link to a video I did a few months ago that you migth want to add to the list.
I really want to try making a video, but so far I just don't think I can get what I want out of the free stuff like MM2. I notice there's a fairly inexpensive lite version of Adobe Premiere out there called Adobe Premiere Elements. Has anyone used it and can recommend it (the lite version and not the full-on version I mean)? Does it have a still have a lot of useful features? Is there anything in particular that it's missing or that you can't do with it that's notable?
Also if I want to create a intro animation for a video like many of the other ones have, can I create that with Premiere Elements or does that require different software? If so what kind of software, and is it freeware or something else to buy?
I still have a lot more to figure out about this, and I would want to make sure I know what to do and how I would want to do it in advance before I go off and start buying stuff.

My boyfriend runs his own video production company and he uses Adobe Premiere Elements. He likes it a lot. It has a lot of cool features, and is a great substitute for the full version. He does use a couple of different programs to edit, but he says that to make a Galaxies video (I've made him watch a few, lol), you should be able to use it. If you have any other questions, PM me, and I'll ask him.
Oh yeah, I know one of my guildies uses DIVX for....something. lol! Capture maybe? Not really down with the video stuff.
FYI, the list at the beginning of the thread is rather old. If someone wants to start a new updated list I'll edit the post to link to it instead.
As far as Adobe Premiere Elements...
My girlfriend picked up a copy because she was tired of Movie Maker, and to be honest I wouldn't really recommend people use the program I use, it's too much of a pain to get videos into and out of. So she bought it and I helped her a bit.
It is certainly quite capable, and far beyond Movie Maker. I would say it is quite worth the money. My biggest complaint with it is that I felt like the interface was a bit too dumbed down from what I'm used to. However, what I'm used to would probably be considered mind numbingly complex to many people. I could do nearly everything I wanted in Adobe Premiere Elements with little trouble. There were a few odd quirks that bothered me, but I think that can be said about any piece of software.
So for editing, if you don't want to spend the money, use Movie Maker 2. If you've got $100 to blow, get Adobe Premiere Elements.

Ooh, and yes you could use Elements to do an intro video. Certainly not every kind you see. Off the top of my head, Javier uses a professional title producer and Windspire uses a 3-d rendering program. But you can certainly do something more basic. The intro video I use should be entirely possible using Elements, for example.
