1. Crafting - I know crafters are pissed.. we're working on a system that I hope will be a good balance between the crafting centric system we had before and the loot drop system we have now. The truth is this needs to be balanced.
Ok - I'm not being sarcstic here. I am so happy to see this in the list. All I've always wanted to know is that you folks know how pissed we crafters are... and now I know you know... you know?

will we ever see a lock on target system agen? Will we ever get a skill sytem simmular, or like the one we had before? And do you think this gaem feel like Star Wars?
1) No target lock is planned or being discussed. 2) There will be additional skills for each profession, but not like the system before. I realize this is contriversial but there it is.
While you are in the process of creating mid-level content please don't remove the xp for quests which by the design of the game are meant to be repeated. It makes no sense for Task Force Bravo to be 150xp. Who the heck wants to do that quest for that xp to begin with? And why on earth would anyone select the option to repeat it when offered the chance for 150xp???? Don't destroy working quests while you create new content.
Crafters are pissed. I am a crafter in every profession. I miss the way foods could be used in the past. The combinations of food were fabulous to improve stats. Now it's just one. Do you eat a cheeseburger and not have a drink??? I think the way buffs worked in the past allowed chefs to have a good variety of foods and people could use different combinations. As a weaponsmith, why would someone buy my weapons when the looted ones are better? Open more content to the crafters. Allow us the same opportunity to take part in content that is existing by giving us a CL and some nominal combat skills like the entertainers. This would be a wonderful and welcome addition for crafters!

Do you have any plans to turn maintance back on to get rid of all the abandoned structures from players who quit long ago.
we've had a plan to completely get rid of most of the structures in the game from players that aren't around any more. It's in limbo because it's time-consuming and needs to be done just right (imagine the riots if we deleted active players's structures by accident). The team just has other stuff they are concentrating on atm.

And the riot you'd get from City Mayors if they're cities were destroyed because of a house purge, how about you just give mayors the ability to packup player's houses in there city.
Like a /forclose or something.
And bring back something like citywarn. Or better, because its hard to get rid of troublemakers now.

When the NGE and the 6-8 month plan was announced an expansion was mentioned. Now whiel i believe that new content needs to be added into a MMO monthly for free... expasnions offer large chunks of content and new environments all at once.... and is very much needed.

The only way to comunicate is to listen. The players need to listed to the DEV's, and the DEV's need to listen to the players. There has been alot of "telling" the other side waht to do, or will be done. Listen, and we might get somewhere.

honestly if people could tone down the rhetoric and amp up the questions like this that I think are easy to answer I would post all the time. There are only so many hours in the day.. it's hard to sit and answer "Gee Smed, you suck.... this game sucks.. SOE sucks.. how are you going to fix it?"... as much as I do enjoy those extremely fun questions.

Fair enough. Here's my question:
You stated that you realize that many people aren't happy with the addition of combat skills to the profession, particularly since a good number of us specifically chose entertainer to AVOID having to play a combat character. You also said that you like where the team is going with Entertainer and that you want to make sure it is balanced.
So my question is - where exactly is the team going with Entertainer? There's been no discussion with our community, no developer coming in and making a post saying "Hey guys...here's what we're planning for you. Tell us what you think." No indication that our wants, needs, desires, wishlists, suggestions, feedback, etc. is being considered or even listened to. Some type of plan - even if it's just a rough sketch of the future - would go a long way towards making us feel that yes you do indeed care and value our input as paying customers and that we aren't being relegated to just an afterthought.
Because I'll be honest....the addition of combat abilities to our profession feels like we're being distracted with some shiny object, patted on the head, and told to go play. It's just not a long-term solution. Hell, it's not even a solution period as most of us don't like the proposed changes anyway.
