Would it be more fun if it was an active skill you used against a target?
What if passively you only had a chance to DE-flect, but targeted on an enemy you had a chance to reflect?
When should you be able to reflect? A small chance even at initiate ramping up to 100% at Master?
Could this sufficiently do away with the need for armor?
random question: If you had a Jedi robe, would you really wear it? Wouldn't that be a bit dangerous?
Answer any or all questions, if you have your own version of how it could work or if you think Jedi shouldn't be able to block a gnort please let me know!
Passive for deflecting shots...and once you hit padawan..should be able to reflect back at them (actively targeting them). Of course the chances for both would scale up as you move up in the ranks.
Also, need to add a dodge/block skill for non reflecting attacks, like melee and rocket attacks.
I would wear a jedi robe if it offered other abilities...like increased force regen, or better blocking or doging.
Reflection should be a skill granted at the knight level. Deflect should be passive, but if you "Activate" Reflect on a targeted enemy, you have a chance to send blocked shots back at them.
Yes....but I'm not going through how I see this work again.

See "My incredibly disturbing yet intelligent rant" for my thoughts on saber reflection.
In a nutshell, Both. actively activating it however would limit your offensive capabilities, but increase damage, chance of reflection, and chance of status effect on reflection. (again, see my post. )
However, if I'm out in the wild lvl'ing up and a bh with his now working droid comes at me
1) passive deflect 2) when on target - reflected back but still able to deflect. Reflection back to and being able to hit target with reflected shot should increase as you get higher in the skill trees.
I would also suggest that once activated, Reflection would have your current skill mod chance to reflect shots from ALL attackers at the targetted individual, not just shots from the target.
Both. I would expect a much lower % to reflect in passive mode.

Yes. That is a very cool idea.

See above.

I think 100% at master is a bit high. It should be high but our opponents should have a chance. With 100% reflect it would be pointless to attack a Jedi.
Could this sufficiently do away with the need for armor?
No.
