you jedi's are all jokes. you do nothing to affect the game. you hide and let your head swell up watching yourself in the middle of nowhere grinding exp. arrogant mothas.
start showing yourselves, the devs kiss your butts. reset your lives completely change everything to make it easier for you. you still whine and cry like children. sorry you probably are.
show yourselves and then you may get more respect. i have no intention of ever grinding to make jedi. and i look forward to seeing you fighting for your lives. if of course you ever stop hiding.
How is it you can see the stats on crystals? I have done a /examine, but that doesn't tell me anything, other than it's for crafting a lightsaber. Do you have to be a force sensitive character to see these supposed stats?
Tuskens and Jawas seem to be a crock in my book. I spent much of the day in the Tusken Fort. When I got sick of that, I did Jawa missions. That evening I got one twin AFKing 'lumps. I think I'll stick to the thugs, even as rare as the drops are.
I am not a jedi or evr want to be one..but I do like to help out
Location: Lok near New suntir on Sunrunner (on the face of the Volcano
Type of Mod: ???dunno
Number killed before drop: killed 6 elite mercenaries
Type of Crystal: Dual-yellow
My friend got a Dual blue one about the same exact time and he only killed 1 mob I believe
we where doing 20k missions from the MIssion terminal there. The mob that i got mine from was a random spawn that I had just happened to kill why running back to the Mission Term.

I see a huge number of drops coming from fort tusken looking in this thread. Its ironic that the places that are dropping the crystals are all pretty much off limits for Jedi hunting in hiding. If a group of say 25 or more Jedi were to hunt together at fort tusken they could get massive amount of xp and at the same time be able to loot lots of crystals. My question is, would a group of 25+ Jedi be able to hold the fort against however many BH, combat medics, TKM etc who no doubt would come to hunt down the Jedi? Is this a completely ludicrous idea? Would the Jedi get slaughtered? I'm just a bit frustrated with having to divide my playing time into two separate hunting sessions -- that of Jedi hunting random animals for xp and then having to hunt with my main just to look for crystals.

Just a few weeks ago on Sunrunner, 9 Jedi stormed Fort Tusken (including my Wookiee Jedi) and we had a great time. The crowd of "on lookers" was huge, and ever few minutes an imp would say... "Hey.. Want to see me do something really stupid?" then attack one of us. We of course would all kill anyone and anything that got near us.
But we only stayed for 20mins or so. No doubt 40 BH's were on the way. So we rode our bikes all the way down to AH and helped a small group of rebels fend off an Imp raid by our server's biggest guild. It was a total blast!
Jedi can be fun, but the answer is NO, we cannot just grind at a poi like the fort, therefore you are right in the assumtion that we have no good place to look for crystals with our jedi characters. We're pretty confident that killing NPCs with a saber is what gets us on the BH terms anyways, so you'll never catching us doing that unless for fun, like we did at the Fort.
As for crystals, yes, I've seen the drop rate for meatlumping go downhill in a big way. I feel you just need to be lucky these days, and find one while hunting.
I agree with the idea of looting NPCs for hours on end seems like the most ridiculous thing anyone has ever imagined. I believe that the crystal "havesting" idea in the top 5 issues sounds like the best solution - but an idea that ingenious probably won't be implemented anytime soon
With that said, I looted my first 2 (yes, 2) crystals yesterday after endless npc killin.
Just sat my character down outside a starport in Correlia for about an hour and came back to find a twin-force crystal and one regular. Both are good stats, as I'm told.
The thing I've noticed with crystal drops or drops at all for that matter are that they come in clusters. What I mean is that you can kill 20 meatlumps in a row and receive nothing but credits (which isn't bad, btw, adds up) and then suddenly 10 in a row will drop some locked containers, junk, and the very occasional crystal. It's all luck, and no matter what NPC you're hunting, I think you have an equal chance of picking up anything valuable.

Can we humbly request and answer from the DEVs in regards to crystal loots? I have basically worked my bottom off since the inception of this post in order to try to loot a few crystals. I would say that my efforts have been a 100% failure. If this is how rare crystal looting is going to be, I may very well have to ask SOE to cancel my account. Because macro camping spawns isn't any fun. And I would like to eventually be able to play a Jedi.

You'll be able to play jedi.... you'll just have to use your training saber. No one said you had to be uber and all.

MMORPG.com: You acknowledged in your last producer letter that one major flaw with the NGE’s introduction was broken content and that it was your goal to fix that. How did this happen in the first place?
I have destroyed 2 t-21's shooting every humanoid NPC in sight, wether they be magically spawning in front of me near a town, mobs and gobs of em in dungeons, evil force guys that rock me with lightning, or stupid lil yellowed eye'ed mission buggers my lizzie just doesnt loot crystals. At first I thought the prices on these components was rediculous but they are rarer than the holo's when that craze first started up. There were spots that you could get a cube from, but a crystal? nah not gonna happen...
