Warning: contains spoilers.

The Bestine Elections are over and here is a summary of what is known so far: If Sean wins, he gives a random reward which are:

• Ornate Rug
• Decorative Statue

You will only receive these rewards if you voted for Sean.

However, even if you did not vote Sean, you can still do his additional quest. The reward for completing this quest is:

• A Painting

After publish 7 (and a hotfix on March 23) If Victor was the winner and you voted for him, you were given one of two random prizes:

• An Imperial Banner
• Necklace

Anyone can take Victor's quest.  It involves having to kill a Tusken Observer at the Tusken Fort:...

Tusken Observer: 210k HAM
85% Kinetic
85% Energy
35% Blast
100% Heat
30% Electricity
45% Acid
80% Stun
10% Restraint
10% Cold

... and retrive a tusken head (a little grotesque if you ask me).  The reward for finishing this quest is a rifle that looks like a tusken rifle and does kinetic damage.  Most people say the rifle is not worth the effort needed to finish this quest.

Ive talked to other NPCs around bestine and they just give small talk.  Can anyone figure out how to start the new quests?

No change on Tarquinas. I talked to Tour Aryon, Sean and Victor and they told me the same rehashed lines.

Same on my server.  After waiting a month, I found out that Victor won the election.  Now I can't seem to figure out what's supposed to happen next.  I can't seem to find any new quest givers.  Now what?

Well, as it's posted on www.starwarsgalaxies.com;

If Victor wins the election citizens will have an effect on the local area by noticing that there will be fewer merchants in the market since they won't have Sean's protection and more noticeably, there will be more Imperial Troopers patrolling Bestine. When there are more patrolling troopers, the Tusken Raiders will not be so brave and will raid the city much less often.

Ya, I've heard that there are supposed to be raids on the city by Tusken Raiders and such.  That's all nice and all I suppose.  But I'm a collector, and was hoping that there would be new quests / items to get.  I've heard this happens when either of them win the election.....Sean's supposidly has something to do with the downed ship outside of the city.  No idea what Victor's is supposed to be about.
