If your a Swordsman goto the Sarlac Pit on Dath. Set up an area attack macro, take Brandy and Arisha. Look for Rancor spawn and tap it, go to next Rancor spawn and tap that then just go back and forth. If you work them right you will get 100 - 120xp per lair. My best time is 50 mins to cap doing this.
I don't bother trying to cap Unarmed as it's too slow. I cap Swords twice with an hour left on my buff and by then I've had enough anyway.
For a change I sometimes clear the NS cave (except for the Elder :smileyhappy might do the Squill cave but that's usually busy. For loot I'll goto to the Geo cave but that's slow for capping. For faction points (IMP) I goto the Imp v Reb Battlegrounds on Corellia, you can cap here in an hour and you can easily get 10-11k Faction points per buff session but you need to be on your toes with those turrets.
I tried doing the C12 way, found it waaaaay too boring but it does work.

Well my idea isn't much for speed, what I do is go to dant, get into a solo group and do a set of hurrton stalker lairs, then a set of caveman lairs (Mokk, Janta), rinse repeat. I get about 1.2 million weapons xp per buff session, about 1 million credits, a few crystals, and a decent DOT weapon now and again. It works out well for me, and I don't lose my sanity. Get to chat with some good people, and make uber cash and good xp. This may not help you out much info wise, but thought i'd give it a shot. Good luck with it.
RULE 1: dont get missions... dont worry about money... just go out and kill kill kill.... for me.. i just look for huge logs on dant, and kill pickets.. the random picket nests are probably the best b/c mainly i don't get many babies or "pup", its all adults... if you get cluttered and want money as well..... well the best thing to do is pick up your missions, and then just go out and kill everything inbetween, you will be surprised how fast you cap. but the general rule of thumb is that if you waste time going back and forth between mission terminals... it will take forever....

It's not that kind of a battlefield where you join. All it is, is a place out by that lake on the eastern side of the map where stormtroopers and rebels spawn like crazy. The Imperials are attacking a small rebel base defended by turrets, soldiers, etc.
I got in solo groups out of Dant M.O. buffed and hit a player city with a good economy (i live in a metropolis), take two (hurt stalker, svg quenks, and/or piket (avoid protectors) missions within 1000m of terminal - both in the same direction.
I was capping fencer in 45 min, and pistols in 1.5 hrs...every nite...you do this 10 buffs sets per phase and you will be done by the time your last phase rolls around.
I still seriouslly doubt you can cap tkm in an hr. It takes let's say 20 mins to do a full round of missions which the drive time is included here. So you can do 3 full rounds. Now savage quenkers i get from 75k-80k per mission. Let's say 80k. So 160k per round times 3 480k for the hour. Heck let's just say 500k. So 500k per hour and 400k more so about another 30-45 mins. Now how in the heck are you guys still getting capped in an hr and less then an hour?
Time: can cap unarmed, polearms, and sometimes combat in one buff session.
How many trees have you done: Combat prowess 0023 Enhanced reflexes 4143 (should be done by now but I am slacking)
I have found the best compromise between weapon and grenade grinding, I go to dantooine and get a buff (make sure its over 3 hours). I will use polearms on Hurrton Stalkers and Quenker Ravagers missions till I cap, then switch to TKA and cap that. The quenkers are about 15k-ish in an improved market and the stalkers are 11700-ish. Quenker ravagers seem to be the better of the two since they dont seem to spawn any babies, therefore giving about 10-15k more weapons xp than the stalkers. Once I cap, I usually have around 30 minutes to an hour left on my buff, so I get my trusty C12 grenades, and get JUST Quenker Ravagers. Should have no trouble capping 2 weapons and combat in 3 hrs or so, which will nab you 160k FS xp.
An alternative method that would probably be faster if you are efficient is to just use C12 grenades. No cert needed, just stock up, get some quenker ravager missions (I have found that with ravagers, sometimes all of the quenkers will surround you and take damage rather than just 4 or 5). This method has nabbed me 100k fs xp in about 1 hr to 1 hr 30 mins....Which means you should be able to get 200k+ combat xp per buff session, depending how fast you can shuttle and travel to the village. Of course this method will be even more accelerated if you manage to pick up 3000 commando or 4000 commando and use imperial or thermal detonators. Master commandos will make even more XP, but in my opinion isnt really worth getting if you are just doing the FS grind (imp detonators work really good as it is). Basically, more damage grenades means faster lair kills, less nades used per lair, and therefor more efficient xp gain and lair killing.
Oh and this will nab you a nice bit of money over some time .

as i posted early already, the main problem is getting missions, that is the biggest waste of time. just go in the field and look for logs. take random picket spawns as theirs is the one least likely to have many baby , or pups spawn, thus making 99% of the spawns adults. u will see that if you don't take missions and just go looking for kills, your xp count will rise quite fast. 1 hour to cap with foods and buffs in your system is absolutely attainable.

Thermal Dets, C22's the way i did it 5-10mins there and back to the village to convert xp, if u hardcore grind u can get 500fs xp in 3-4 hours, if u do it easy u can get 200 fs xp in 1 buff. Baz Nitch Lairs (giants) aiming to be done grinding the first week of December..planning on talking to the old man on the 20th of December.
People are raising the expectations here. Sorry to rain on your parade, but over the long haul you are not doing better than an hour on average. Here is why. I am a master commando and I have great access to nades. I have an alt that is a master doc that I plant in dath outpost. I have a master dancer/Muscian as well planted in dath.
You may be able to cap in less than an hour and I have capped in 30 minutes, but you are not buffing and getting rid of BF and traveling to the village and putting powerups on your nades and finding great layers, that is ones that dont intimidate or have high resist to your nades on a consistent enough basis to average one hour on your capping.
Im not even talking about repairing armor and buying it or buying grenades or including fly time and grouping time to Dantooine if you are going that route or stopping right by your alt so he can buff you again.
I am averaging about 1 hour when I have my supplies all ready to go along with my doc for easy access. Contrary to what some have said, I do believe it is good to group up in the trade outpost and go to the science outpost and do kamurith or baz nitches on the mission term. It only takes about 4 missions and you pick up the rest on the way to the village. If you stay close to the village, you are dependant on spawns and Mol's intimidate and give less xp. In the long run I end up with less battle fatigue and less healing time if I just run back to the science outpost and do 4 missions and rinse and repeat.
As long as everyong knows that there is a big difference between time capping once and the average time it takes over the long haul, then its cool. But please don't think you will average 1 hour per cap using anything other than proton grenades or maybe thermals or Imp dets if your lucky.
I believe the best non nade route is Rifle shooting at the speed cap. I gave that up for nades because nades are much faster.

Where You cap out on: Tatooine and Dantooine
Time it takes to cap out: In a buff session and depending on how crowded the Squill Cave is, I can cap out both Pike and Sword. Then over to Dant (see below).
Other things you want to mention: I keep a crate each of Canape and Brandy for my mind, and I buff myself (I'm 0440 Doc, +2000 all for 3.25hr). Being part doc realllllly helps. After I've filled weap xp for both pike and sword, I head over to Dant and get some huurton stalker missions to finish off combat xp with grenades. This helps keep the cost of using grenades to a relative minimum since I only need 'em for roughly 120k combat xp.
(optional) How many branches you have done: CP 1043, ER 04xx. Have about 300k FSxp banked.
