I've been compiling a few bugs and issues on the new Geonosian Bio Lab I thought I would share.
Things seem to be getting worse instead of better for the new dungeon. Last night's spawns on Wanderhome were about impossible to deal with. I think that's the first time the place hasn't been packed - that isn't necessarily a bad thing but what caused it is.
Currently, the spawns seem to be anywhere from TWO to FOUR times as it should be. Creatures are spawning on top of each other and just wiping out everything near them.
About the only place that wasn't spawning double was the Imperial Observer.
- All the crazed geonosian spawns were spawning 2 crazed geonosians for every 1 that was intended. So instead of getting 3 you get 6.
- The fire breathing spider (on a 1 hour respawn timer) was spawning 2 every hour instead of 1. You get a nice surprise when you try to attack it and instead 1 fire breathing spider you get 2 since they were positioned exactly on top of each other
- Also affected were the mercenary spawns.
UPDATE: Most of the double spawning appears to be resolved now; however, should you camp a spot for too long then double spawning will eventually occur.
Has anyone ever gotten this, or know what it is (for)?? Supposedly the Geonosian Scientist NPC (next to where the fire breathing spider spawns) gives it to you but this is not the case. The NPC will thank you for saving him, and say that he gives you a sonic drill as reward, yet if you check your inventory there is nothing. (Now come to think of it, I've never checked my datapad... but).
TENLOSS DXR-6 SCHEMATIC
Be very careful if you are attempting to get the tenloss DXR-6 blaster rifle schematic from the NPC Genonosian scientist. If while you are engaged in conversation with the NPC you are at any time attacked then the conversation will be aborted and you will be unable to re-engage conversation afterward. You will have to exit the bio lab in order to reset it for yourself and go back in. Not fun.
So once you have all the codes that's it? All those people too lazy to go to all the NPCs can just get them from you? Why don't the codes cycle on an hourly or at least daily basis forcing you to get new codes? Random number generating shouldn't be too hard; you have to enter in a random 6-digit code everytime you want to re-deed a harvester, so why not here???
It's great that slicers got some attention in this new dungeon but it's only of benefit to them. If I (as a slicer) successfully slice a door then I'm the only one in my group that can go through the door. No one else in my group can so they have to use the code, or passkey anyways.
With the Imperial Crackdown and contraband scans that were supposed to encourage people to want to group with smugglers why was this portion/opportunity left out?
Additionally, even if I fail slicing the door I can just immediately re-attempt it and cut the other wire. No delay? No penalty?
Anyone have anything else to add? Problems with the new dungeon that they've come across or noticed?
