1. My Vibro-Knucklers have X-Y Damage and Z Speed. How do they compare?
   
   The average sliced master-made VKs that you will see on your server are in the range of minimum 20-40 damage to maximum 140-180 damage @ 2.2 speed. Damage sliced VK's have damages over 220. For speed slices, you should be able to get VKs sliced around 1.5-1.7 speed. If you want to get an uber vibro-knuckler, you will need to loot the uber parts and give them to your favorite master weaponsmith. There are three components that weaponsmiths can put into VK's to increase their effectivess. These are:
   
2. High Power Motor Units (add to maximum damage)
3. High Frequency Motor Units (add to % wound chance)

Parts #1 & 2 are dropped by Nym Elite NPC's on Lok. Krayt Tissues can NOT be added to Vibro weapons (Don't ask a weaponsmith, they'll lol at you). Rancor teeth are a replacement for the Advanced core, but currently only work in Swords (and apparently the end result is worse than if the weaponsmith created it themselves).

1. How does speed work? Should I choose VKs for Speed or Damage?
   
   As you have probably heard, there is a speed cap in the game of 1.0. I have heard rumors that this might be changed, but it hasn't been changed yet. If you have a pair of VKs with 1.0 speed, your base attack (no special move) will allow you to attack once every second.
   
   Here is the formula you can use to calculate your speed based on the VK speed and special move:
   
   (WeaponSpeed * SpecialDelayMod) - (WeaponSpeed * SpecialDelayMod) * (UnarmedSpeed/100)
   
   Here are some real-world examples of this.
   
   In each example, I'm using a 2.2 speed VK (which is an average master unsliced vk on most servers).
   
   If you have Unarmed IV, you have +25 unarmed speed:
   
   No Special Move (time modifier 1.0) Time = (2.2 * 1.0) - (2.2 * 1.0) * (25/100) Time = 1.65 seconds
   
   UnarmedHit1 (time modifier 1.5): Time = (2.2 * 1.5) - (2.2 * 1.5) * (25/100) Time = 2.47 seconds
   
   Once you get to Intermediate Power Techniques (0/0/1/0), your speed goes up to +50:
   
   No Special Move (time modifier 1.0) Time = (2.2 * 1.0) - (2.2 * 1.0) * (50/100) Time = 1.1 seconds
   
   UnarmedHit1 (time modifier 1.5): Time = (2.2 * 1.5) - (2.2 * 1.5) * (50/100) Time = 1.65 seconds
   
   UnarmedHit2 (time modifier 2.5): Time = (2.2 * 2.5) - (2.2 * 2.5) * (50/100) Time = 2.75 seconds
   
   Note that once you get to Master Power Techniques (level IV), you will notice that you can strike just as quickly unarmed as with a VK. Most TKMs will begin doing special moves unarmed at this point to avoid the high HAM costs of the VK.
   
   
2. Are there any other weapons available?
   
   Currently, No. After the Combat Upgrade/Rebalance we are supposed to have a new weapon, the razor knuckler. Please check this This Thread for info.
   
3. Are there any powerups available for vibroknucklers?
   
   Artisans can craft standard powerups that can be used to temporarily increase the stats on your VK. Keep in mind that due to how easily Teras Kasi practitioners reach the speed cap, powerups tend to wear out very quickly.  Standard powerups have 100 uses and if we can attack at a rate of once per second, you have less than two minutes of spamming before all the charges of your powerup are gone.
   
   
4. What Makes a VK?
   
   First, let me thank the great guys over in the Weaponsmith forums for this information.  This section contains everything you need to know about what exactly goes into making a vibroknuckler including the exact resources needed, the quantities, and the components necessary.  I know this was touched on in the first section, but this is a more in depth look. This section also includes the items necessary to make "enhanced" vibroknucklers, as well as where to loot those items.

5. Looking for VK enhancements?
   
   This section is going to cover how to find the loots necessary to make a pair of "enhanced" vibroknucklers.
   
   Lok - There is only one Starport, Nym's Hideout. So you'll need to either get a swoop, or really enjoy walking long distances.
   
   The easiest way to find the Elite Nym's guards are to get in a solo group and accept missions to destroy their camps.  I have also heard that the Droideka usually found with Nyms guards sometimes drop assembled vibroknucklers that may contain DOT's but I haven't personally tested this.
   
   Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that you will loot anything worth putting into a vibroknuckler. Some people claim to loot the motors on a regular basis, other claim to have killed countless Nym's guards and looted nothing. 
   
   
   Nightsisters - Dathomir
   There are two starports available on Dathomir.  In the North, there is the Dathomir Outpost, in the South, the Science Outpost.  Since the advent of the Village of Aurailia, I avoid the Science Outpost because it is the closest to the Village, and is full of players.
   
   Let me be more specific when I say "Nightsisters."  To obtain the nightsister vibromotor, you'll need to kill Axkva Min, the Nightsister Queen.  She is found at the bottom of the nightsister cave, and only after server restarts. Bring a group!!!  Axkva is 100% resistant to kinetic damage, so anyone with pure TK in their template won't hurt her at all.She is resistant to blast damage, but not much else.  My suggestion is to keep her intimidated, and as a tank, try to apply states to her. 
   
   I almost forgot, if and when you reach her, when you attack, she will spawn another 10 ( I think, I'll have to check again) Nightsisters to help her. So don't just think you'll be able to solely target her at first. Once the spawns are killed, then she will be alone. 
   
   Once again, keep in mind that there is no guarantee that you will loot vibromotors, or anything else, for that matter.  Axkva Min also gives out credits (my guild and I killed her one day and got a total of 3000 credits between the 10 of us:smileysad  armor and clothing attachments, and other items.  The good news is that since Axkva is one of the most powerful NPC's in game, the loot table is much higher for her, and you have a much better chance to loot +25 attachments and exceptional or even legendary items.

You can get a max of 35% slice on weapons (in the contrary of Armor slicing which goes upto 45%), so max damage with 35% slice = 197-209 unenhanched and 224-236 enhanched. Speed sliced for 35% gives you a 1.4 speed VK.
