Panic Shot; Strafe Shot are cone effect shots that will
delay your target for 10 seconds on a successful shot. Strafe Shot succeeds
only when your target is in the 'take cover' position. In both cases, the
effect ends upon further damage to the target.
Sliced armor and weapons: Armor and weapons that have been
altered by a smuggler will have a "identifier tag" in its examine window
description.
Made droids, vehicles and turrets immune to the delay
effect of panic shot.

The Infamous Caylin Borealis - First Master Smuggler on Bria One of the Four Horsemen of the Smuggler Apocalypse! :The Ghost with the Most:
Locked loot crates now indicate whether they are sliceable or not when examined.
You might have missed this one because it was under Loot and not under Smuggler or any other ones that most of our changes appeared under. On a side not, woohoo, i learned a new HTML tag just now, this thing

Would the bug of failed weapon/armor slices still reading as having been illegally modified, while no stats change count?
They could at least tag it differently, saying that it was a failed modification.

Good post. I cant help myself but to add some side thoughts...

The 'Imperial Crackdown' - nice thought, but it doesnt really work. No advantage to being a smuggler as far as I can tell ... just be an imp.
Fixed broken old spices - of course they remain useless compared to chef and Dr. Buffs which have NO downers what-so-ever.
*Stealth Nerf* Auto-pulling on Slicing materials is disabled. - I'm still so P***ED at this one - saying it was a accident when the patch notes said "Smugglers:"
Slicing XP added for FS Senses XP conversion. - but a smuggler cannot use the exp for the most smuggler like skills (such as luck) without dropping something and mastering medic.
Spice Crafting XP added for FS Crafting XP conversion. - but a smuggler cannot use the exp for the most smuggler like skills (such as luck) without dropping something and mastering medic.

The 'Imperial Crackdown' - nice thought, but it doesnt really work. No advantage to being a smuggler as far as I can tell ... just be an imp. Well, I'm a Master Smuggler and I've been scanned many times. Out of the hundreds of times I've been scanned.... I think I've been caught once or twice. Boring if you ask me.
Fixed broken old spices - of course they remain useless compared to chef and Dr. Buffs which have NO downers what-so-ever. Gotta love our spice... with nothing to love about it.
*Stealth Nerf* Auto-pulling on Slicing materials is disabled. - I'm still so P***ED at this one - saying it was a accident when the patch notes said "Smugglers:" Tell me about it. This was another stab into Smugglers. This nerf was the biggest pain in the ass.
Slicing XP added for FS Senses XP conversion. - but a smuggler cannot use the exp for the most smuggler like skills (such as luck) without dropping something and mastering medic. Smugglers really should be able to get some skills... because we're a mix of professions. Crafting, slicing, pistols, even "healing" some could say. Because I'm a Smuggler, I really wanted to have Luck and Persuasion (spelling?). Perfect skills for Smugglers! But, of course, seeing as I'm a Smuggler/Commando, I'm stuck with Ranged and Melee... two useless skills (especially melee).
Spice Crafting XP added for FS Crafting XP conversion. - but a smuggler cannot use the exp for the most smuggler like skills (such as luck) without dropping something and mastering medic. See what I said above.
JTL is live. We can now fly a YT-1300 just like Han Solo… - and so can anyone else in the game. I never wanted to be a Han Solo wannabee anyway. I want to be me, Degwin Tze'Midak. THough I really do think Smugglers should've gotten the Smuggler's Run (shown in an anniversary painting) as a special Smuggler-only space craft.
Smuggler Missions added in space. - for anyone in the game ... not for smugglers. Everyone with JTL now has a greater ability to smuggle than non-JTL ground smugglers. Try the Talus station. The guy there gives missions, but you have to have Underworld skills to understand him. That's about the only "smuggler mission" we get.
Just added my two cents it. 'Cause I have nothing better to do.
