This is the new quarterly Entertainer Top Issues thread as you can see from the title. The information I have posted here is gathered from the previous thread. As time goes on, please post any new issues or changes with current issues in this thread. Also, if you feel something is more or less important than what I have listed, please say so specifically.
thanks!
Unattended gameplay
Entertainers need content.
Entertainer mission pay should scale with skill level with the current low end remaining the same as it is now.
Master Entertainer has nothing to offer for Image Designers and little for Dancers.
Planetary registration for PC cantinas (and medical centers) is still buggy. Medics are able to /register in PC cantinas and Entertainers are able to /register in PC medical centers.

These are in no specific order, but I would appreciate if you all order them by what you personally think is more important (and of course feel free to add any others that you think need to be listed) as I will probably need a shorter list to send to the devs pretty soon.
The spelling of one of our instruments "a Fizzz" is inconsistent. Please replace all instances of "a Fizz" with "a Fizzz". Also, "a Bandfill" always has a single space after the name when crafting one. This is only a minor annoyance, but should also be extremely easy to fix.
Entertainer mission pay should scale with skill level, and the current base should remain for Novice Entertainers. These also could use a redesign as they are rather uninteresting. Also, all of the missions improperly have "Dancer" in the description of the mission object.
The Force Sensitive bonus should be for BF and not Mind Wounds. Mind wound mods are easy to get since these can be looted and made by BEs. BF healing mods can only be looted. Mind Wound healing mods are very inexpensive compared to BF healing mods so almost everyone is already maxed on MW healing. MW healing as a FS bonus is of very little value considering this. This is especially true with the recent change which doubled the speed in which MWs are healed.
Entertainers want the ability to disable our "Your perform a flourish" and "Your band performs a flourish" spam. A /command could be added to toggle the spam so that no UI changes would be necessary.
We have recently discovered that Master Entertainers are able to edit special fireworks package options. We would like this documented in our skill box, and some would like if it was moved to Novice Entertainer and enabled for mass production in some way.
Only five Entertainer/Musician instruments have unique sounds. Please give the other five instruments unique sounds.
Entertainer instrument quality has no significance.
Make /denyservice a permanent list like /addignore instead of having it vanish at server restart. Some have suggested making the /denyservice and /addignore lists identical, although some would not like this.
Some Enterainers want the ability to heal BF in a camp.
The Master Entertainer skill box provides nothing for IDs and little for Dancers.
A special new ME-only holo-emote or other currently available holo-emotes with the exceptoin of the "All" option.
Ability to place a PC theater.
A boost in BF healing.
Ability to /register
Certification for playback and effects droids
There are no customization options for Sullustan males, or for Wookiees and Mon Cals of both genders, until eye color at ID 2. Ithorians have no eye color customization which means that until Novice ID they have no change that grant 300 xp over 1 minute, but rather only have changes which grant 100 xp over 30 seconds, which is a less favorable ratio. All other species can take advantage of the 300 xp over 1 minute with eye color at ID 2. ~ NJ62
Unattended gameplay.
With the recent EH changes, our XP has been quite wonky. We want to know what the devs intend for our XP gain to be and for it to remain steady.
Entertainers have a very difficult time getting profession-appropriate loot since most of it is obtained via combat.
If Entertainers' primary means of economic advancement is to remain in the hands of non-Entertainers, we would like some form of secure payment.
Entertainers want profession-specific clothing.
Droids should be able to be grouped in space.
With the recently added NPC Actor Player Event Perks, Entertainers would like to be able to hire NPC Entertainers to perform with (but not provide any mechanic advantage - only aesthetic).
Entertainer Elite Issues
Omni Box / Nalargon can be moved by any player. Entertainers playing one of these are often harassed by someone moving their instrument. Please disallow everyone but the owner and people in one's group from doing this. Group mates should be allowed to, because this may be necessary to allow the feature of up to four Entertainers to play the Nalargon at once (which already exists).
Disallow Entertainers from /register in a PC medical center and also disallow Medics from /register in a PC cantina.
It is still difficult to locate Entertainers of the desired skill level; one idea is to have a different color icon on the planetary map listing for when an Elite Master /register than when a Novice Entertainer /register.
Various player owned theater bugs.
Entertainer Elites want the ability to self-buff. (A re-coding may be necessary to prevent abnormally accellerated XP.)
We need some way to know for sure that our customers have received a buff. Currently, we have to rely on the word of the customer, and this does not promote a healthy economy for us.
Theater Manager Quest: On the advertisement missions, sometimes the 10th / 20th / 30th person to listen to you gets the system message instead of you... he/she aslo gets the “You have reached rank one.” message. When this happens, the Theater Manager still allows the Entertainer to progress, but it is extremely confusing to experience this bug (even if one knows of its existence).

Wookiees and others have no self ID ability until eye color at ID2 which makes earning xp tough for them while starting out.
As an addition to this issue, Ithorians eyes have no color options, making xp gain after they reach ID 2 slower than any other race if they depend on self-IDing for experience.

I can't think of anything to add other than that.
/agree! Also it's wookiees, mon cals and male sullustans that have no options until eye color.
Ok, I edited in Ithorians already......... so what do you think would be a good way to describe the problem for all species/genders in one sentence?

1. Unattended gameplay 2. Mission payouts need to be increase or if not increased reduce the playing time from 10 minutes to 5 minutes per mission - I can grab 2 regular missions off a terminal and kill a nest in around 5 minutes and I have no combat skills. 3. Additional Quests - similiar to Theater Quest with items or more dances and songs - we desperately need game content.
Not saying its more important than the great stuff so far, but I would like the enhanced Firework Factory stuff I mentioned in my other thread. Also, I think the enhanced fireworks programming might be nicer if given at Novice instead of Master.

I mentioned it here:

Was there something else you would like me to add? : )

The list looks completely accurate to me. It would be nice if we could finally get that #1 issue resolved and move on to actually improving our playstyle instead of having to keep an exploit's removal at the top of our issue lists. I really want to get into dev-read discussions on making Entertainer content worthwhile!
I think the massive amount of XP needed to gain Theatrical/Western is excessive, considering you only need the Novice skillbox of the required profession. The XP either needs to be dropped to a more realistic amount in order to be able to actually acquire the special song/dance at Novice, or the needed expertise needs to be bumped up to Knowledge III or IV, in order for the massive XP amount needed to be plausible. Far as I know, they only give the XP ticks of a Novice skill, and that should be changed accordingly, unless you can actually get the song or dance at Novice. I think the XP reduction needed for the reward would be better.
I kinda said this elsewhere, but these look like good issues, and I don't know if there's room to fit some more on. More than that though, these are really issues, but not really improvement to our fun, or not really content that we talk about more ingame, like our cantinas that are basically a non-functional four walls with furniture in them. What about things that will make the game deeper and more enjoyable for us? Do we cover that somewhere else other than the issues thread?
------------------------ After taking a new toon thru Legacy to level 64, and another CL80 to CL90, I've concluded that this game is bereft of value, and no MMORPG can survive so many role and economic devestations.
