Hopefully this guide will clear up alot of confusion around. I sacrificed my free branch unlock to bring you all this guide

Location of Quest Giver
  • East of the Village Elder, along the Walls, surrounded by wounded Villages and Medic Bots.

What do you need before accepting the Quest

  • Doctor with Craft IV Branch
  • Medic Bot with Crafting Stationn Built in
  • Food Crafting Tool(s)
  • 500 Flora Resource with very high OQ and PE
  • 500 Flora Resource with very low OQ and PE
  • 500 Metals with very high OQ and UT
  • 500 Metals with very low OQ and UT

Why the different resources? High Quality so you can reach 92% Experimentation, Low quality so you can reach the 8% Experimentation.

Doing the Quest

  1. Talk the Droid and ask for the symptoms (what's wrong with the patient)
  2. It'll give you a complete list.
  3. You will have to make a medicine (the draft schematic will be give to you by the Quest Giver. Use your Food tool to find it.)
  4. Experiment the medicine to cure that specific sickness. When you are experimenting the medicine, in the box on the top left corner, it will state what the medicine can cure. Each experimentation will change that.
  5. Patients are usually with 5 - 8 symptoms, meaning you have to give the Bot 5 - 8 kinds of medicine to cure the patient.
  6. Once cured, the Bot will tell you so. Talk to it again to move on to the next patient.

MUST KNOWs

  • Cure 5 people, talk to Silvarra, before continuing to cure 5 more for your rewards. Do not attempt to cure 15 people in a row. That's what I did and it cost me my branch unlock. I only ended up with the plant, no necklance, no unlocks.

Experimenting Your Cures

  • There are 3 'attributes' for the cure schematic. 3 attributes which you can experiment on. Each point spent in experimenting, if succesful, usually will move you 'up' the symptom list. Fever being the lowest, Internal Bleeding the higest. For a list and more info, visit Clicky
  • There are Primary Attribute, Secondary Attribute and a 'Side Effect' Attribute. For the sake of simplicity, do not spend experimentation points on the Secondary Attribute and 'Side Effect' Attribute.
  • When you experience a failed experimentation, sometimes you get a 'Side Effect', like fever. Meaning if you give that medicine to the Patient, it will cure the patient of whatever is stated under the Primary and Secondary Attribute, but will also gain what is stated under the 'Side Effect' Attribute. The only to remove the 'Side Effect' is to spend experiment points on it. (That's when you should experiment the 'Side Effect' Attribute)

Making Life Easier...

Make a guy on the server the ginuea pig. Now, he may not unlock the branch (it's persuasion anyway ) But the point is that he makes crates of each type of cure. Sell it to other people, so anyone can do this quest. And can do it with less hassle and such. I was thinking about doing this, but didn't know the schematic would be take away from once I finished the quest.

*Apprently, factory won't make these in Crates. Alas...*

That's it for now. Hope you all find this helpful. I'll update it as I find about more stuff

The Aurillian Plant

There's a discussion on ways to raise the plant going on here. Please share your thoughts and any ideas you may have there!

Excellent post!  Very accurate..  I have finished the quests all three times and got all three rewards, unlock, necklase and plant..

DID you notice that the PLANT has options!!!  Apparently it will grow and perhaps have different appearances with different WATER and NUTRIENTS!!

Going to put it in my house and put stuff in it and see what it does.  If I can find this post again I will post what happens...

So, there's no way really to do this quest unless you are a master medic or master doctor then, is there?  I mean, neither the NPC or the droids will talk to you.

Damn!  and I wanted that plant!

You have to be at least Master Medic to get her to talk to you. After that, you can get a the help from a Master Doc to complete the quest for you, but they will need to have all the resources in advance, as there is definitly a timer on this.

Also, please please please be sure to talk to Silv after you cure the first 5 patients, otherwise you do not get the unlock. Then do the next 10 to get your plant.

See, that's just not right.  There's going to be enough "grinding" "exp-ing" whatever you want to call it on the path toward Initiate, and further.

There's no reason for people to have to dump existing skills and crank through Medic just to do a mission that unlocks a skill that has nothing at all to do with Medic/Doctor.

Change that to just Novice Medic - these people are wounded, they should be thankful for what they can get!

You mean to tell me they have a time limit starting when you accept the quest? That my logging last night after taking the quest f'd up any chance of me getting my Phase 1 unlock?

UPDATE:

After taking the quest from the lady, and logging at 3:00 am because I didnt have a crafting tool or resources, I was able to complete and unlock the persausion tree (for what little it will do me). I had my alt bring me the mtrls to dath, then I logged back on, finished the quests. What good is a +5 CM exp medalion if you are a master doc?? But the plant seems pretty cool!

I did not have any timer problem - I took my time with each patient I even looged out and came back in and still was able to heal the same patient - so there maybe one but it really was not evident.  I even had to leave go back to theed for more resources - and came back no problem there either.

MAster Medic may be able to do it if the droids talk to you - you just need a master doc to make the higher level heals for you to apply.  I made a few internal bleedings and swelling for some less than master docs.

I was just healing everyone then I talked to her and she said I failed and now I can't get anymore quest... even after server reset and changing plantes.  How can I reset it or try it again?

Is the timer you're talking about the phases? If so I think those last like three weeks. I did this quest and didnt have any problems other than needing bad resources too. It didn't feel like a grind to me. I liked experimenting and seeing what med combos I could make without causing side effects.
I can't wait to see the plant grow heh.

There is no timer.

I went all the way back to tat twice to get resources (cause i'm dumb and didn't bring crappy ones after the first time i went back), unlocked my 5, talked to her, healed 2 more, left for 5 hours, came back, healed 3 more, and got my necklace.

Unless you meant the timer on the Village Phase.
