Starting a new thread since the last one got polluted by trolls.

So the challenge is to make a 'percfect pet' for each category. The purpose of this challenge is to have fun and share recipes with the community.
If you're not interested in sharing your recipe with fellow BE's then dont post.

A 'perfect pet' is one that has exactly what you want in terms of resistances and nothing more meaning you can put as much as possible into HAM or DPS or both for its CL.

As mentioned earlier the purpose of this is just a a little fun and to share recipes, so preferably, nothing more than 3rd gen

I'm doing this so we can have a nice collection of recipes to get new BE's off the ground with until they're practiced enough to start making truely custom pets.

The categories are:

Non CH

Novice CH

Triplets

Twins

MCH

PvP

Have fun

Not trying to troll, or ruin the discussion, but the PvP category is a little skewed. As evidenced in a post on the CH forums (http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=creature_handler&message.id=186463) CH *can* be a powerful class in PvP if they take the time to learn their pets and their enemies. Different circumstances in PvP call for different types of pets.

Like I said its not a competition, just a bit of fun, customers still ask for PvP pets and its all very subjective as to whether one pet is better than another or whether they're any use at all, but as long as we have fun and can create something as a community for those that follow after us then we've achieved the goal of this challenge

I've been going back and forth over whether or not to reveal my closely guarded formulae, but in the end I figured why not?

So, this is my contribution to the non-CH category.

This is a first generation pet, so nothing complicated here.
Merek Harvester

Huurton Pup

Experiment fully on physique and the result is a CL10 (provided you don't fail the experimentation). Stats are:
8k/5k/3k HAM
50% kinetic resist, vulnerable to everything else
120-130 damage
usually no specials, but on occasion special 2 will be intimidation.

I have created a couple of perfect pets.  I think I can still do it.  have to be careful though I think I managed to make a lvl 9 Kwi with around 1500-2k HAM that had mild poison and dizzy strike with some nice resist.  So that would be a perfect non-ch pet and PvE pet.  Made it with 4 samples of giant dalyrake DNA and 1 dalyrake matriarch DNA.  Thing i'm not telling is what order to put them in

are we considering "uber" pets in the same category as non-uber non-ch pets?  I mean the 10k HAM 60% kin ones; if so I might have to go on safari and see if i can figure out how i did my personal cat before =)

Well sharing recipies allows people to gain ideas and such.  I mean i'm slowling learning different ideas and recipies that no one has tried yet or have attempted to try.  I'm still working on the best non-ch BE pet I can make.  Best one I found I can make is with the giant dalyrake samples and the matriarch sample.  One thing I would love to see added to use BE's is qst schematics like the scythe or loot schems like the exe hack and such so we can create very special and ubber pets.  I mean what CH wouldn't love to own a dang Acklay.  I'll post up if I make any cool or unique pets.  I'm finding so far my max is getting around 5500 to 6200 HAM with 190-200 max dmg.  I bet I can get higher than that.

Sigh never thought I'd give away my recipes but seeing how my alt forgot how to be a BE I'll throws these out so I can see these beautiful little guys again...
All the following creatures were engineered to experiment to NONCH (<=cl10) and Triplet level forms. Experimentation For first generation DNA is the same for both forms but secondary experimentation differs slightly.

This is using UNBUGGED DNA and to adhere to NancyJ's request at Gen 3 or less I'll only throw out my Gen 2 PVE Recipes

Everybody Loves Screenshots http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=radiant_trade&message.id=63523#M63523
All pets built to look like this (Depending on quality of samples)
(Triplet Level)
10k-11k Health
5k-6k Action
3k-4k Mind
Light Armor

60% Kinetic Special Resistance
Rest Vuln
Speed:  < 2
To Hit:  .20 - .31
Damage Minimum: 170 - 240
Damage Maximum: 200 - 250
Ranged Attack (if desired)

(Non CH Level)
10k-11k Health
5k-6k Action
3k-4k Mind
No Armor
60% Kinetic Special Resistance
Rest Vuln
Speed:    < 2
To Hit:     .23 - .31
Damage Minimum: 200 - 240
Damage Maximum: 210 - 250
Ranged Attack (if desired)
(Yes I do realize that these stats are NEARLY IDENTICAL to the Triplet level pets but all these creture grow to full without getting pet check nerfed.)

Ok enough of that on with the RECIPES:
Blinding Strike/Intimidation (Good for NS)
Gen 1: Boar Wolf/Gurreck/Arachne Warrior/Merek Cavern Creeper/Merek Cavern Creeper
Gen 2: Merek Harvester/Merek Harvester/Generation 1/Generation 1/Generation 1

Strong Poison/Strong Disease (Good if you are feeling lucky)
Gen 1: Boar Wolf/Large Cave Beetle/Arachne Warrior/Merek Death's Head/Merek Death's Head
Gen 2: Merek Harvester/Merek Harvester/Generation 1/Generation 1/Generation 1

These next two complement each other nicely. You could easily bump them into twins range if you pulled a resistance out of vuln or bumped action up a bit.
Stunning Strike/Dizzy
Gen 1: Delirious Merek Avenger/C. Butterfly Defender/Seething Bol Crusher/Rhoa Kwi Hunter/Rhoa Kwi Hunter
Gen 2: Merek Harvester/Merek Harvester/Generation 1/Generation 1/Generation 1
Crippling Strike/Intimidation
Gen 1: Delirious Merek Avenger/Large Cave Beetle/C. Butterfly Defender/Gurreck/Gurreck
Gen 2: Merek Harvester/Merek Harvester/Generation 1/Generation 1/Generation 1

Experimentation:
Gen 1: For tiplets and nonCH fully experiment Physique and Psychology. Makes for a decent Health, non armored CL 14-17ish beast.
Gen 2 Triplets: Same as Gen 1 just with new DNA
Gen 2 NonCH: Max Psychology (Not needed but I like it when my pets listen to me) and pump just enough into Physique that you don't break the armor threshold. This will drop Heatlh alittle but you'll still wasily be able to pull out a lvl 10 with 10K health.

DNA Quality:
Ranged Attacks
Gen 1: Any, Any, HQ/VHQ, HQ/VHQ, HQ/VHQ
Gen 2: Any, Any, HQ/VHQ, AQ/HQ/VHQ*, HQ/VHQ
Notes:
-VHQ or HQ in mental if you want to stick a ranged attack (Gen1/2).
*If you need to skimp on quality here you can use a Average Quality DNA sample in Psychology. More thatn likly you'll get lower Mind stats BUT you still get a pretty decent chance at getting both specials to stick.

Melee  Attacks
Gen 1: Any, Any, Any, HQ/VHQ, HQ/VHQ
Gen 2: Any, Any, Any, AQ/HQ/VHQ*, HQ/VHQ
Notes:
-Don't have to worry about mental here. And a small tip, if you don't want ranged then use a different critter for this slot. LOTS of possibilities here (Another Boar Wolf for example)
*See above

All these recipes are built on vulnerability stacking to lower cLvl to something manageable then grossly altering the end product by throwing in the Merek Harvesters (Best DNA in the game for gen pets IMHO).

RULES OF VULN STACKING -
If you are going to use the 2nd Gen Harvester add-ins be sure to keep KINETIC resistance at least 33% GEN 1 to max out @ 60% GEN 2.
BLAST/HEAT/COLD/ACID all need to be vuln in GEN 1 to have it transfer to Gen 2 while negating the Harvester 10% resists.

Wow that was long.
Sorry.

Just for the record I KNOW there are better recipes out there. These are just a few that I used when I'd drop my alt on Endor for extended periods of time.

Pre, your first gen of the blind/intimidate one only has 4 templates. I'd love to know what the 5th is, trying this one out. =)

I wanted to thank everyone who has posted their pet formulas so far.  For those of us that are still experimenting, this is extremely helpful.  Nothing I've created to date rivals anything posted here, but I hope to post something useful soon (although I've had some pretty decent mixed results playing with Anciet Graul DNA.)  Thanks again!

Sorry I fixed it. There's alot that you can throw in there without causeing too many problems. If you are making a NonCH little guy Id' prolly suggest against the using the Mereks and Kwi's int eh first slot as it may push cLvl up ever so slightly (Better health though). Sigh all this makes me miss BE alot.

Boar Wolf

Large Cave Beetle

Merek Cavern Creeper

Merek Harvester

Voritor Dasher

blah blah blah all work in slot 1 for that recipe

Here's one I've been working on, that looks very promising, but it is not "perfect" yet.

Goal: 60% kinetic ~60% energy, armored, 1st generation pet, at or below CL 35

My latest attempt:

BMBQ - BMBQ - GVT - GVT - GVT
experiment only on physique (until you achieve armor) and pysch
Fortitude is very very close to the armor/no-armor barrier in this combine so you have to use care to use high fortitude samples

Result:
Health: 11143
action: 8235
mind: 8073
light armor
kinetic 60%
energy: 55%
blast: vul
heat: 53%
cold: vul
elect: 53%
acid: 20%
stun: 0%
speed: 1.99
to-hit: .34
damage: 330-340
sp1: knockdown
sp2: crippling strike
ranged: no
==============
CL 39 - owch!

So anyhow, I aint gonna re-sample a BMBQ derivative pet, but I think next time I'll try using some type of GVT derivative 2nd gen sample in that 5th slot to lower the damage a bit, but keep the resists right where they are, which I'm really happy with.

GVT = grassland voritor tracker
